Living in the UK we didn't have GI Joe, instead over here it was renamed Action Force and given a different opening sequence, which can be seen here. I also loved: Thundercats
And while not strictly a cartoon, I've always loved:
Nice cover. Please pass that picture of the Grey Maiden onto the people at Reaper as I'd love a figure of that to go with the Grey Maiden figure they've already done (which I have a trio of), would make for a great commander type for them, just as the Chivane figure does for the regular Red Mantis Assassin figure.
Currently reading Thanquol's Doom by C.L. Werner as I'm a big fan of the Warhammer fantasy world, and especially the many characters from the Gotrek & Felix series and it's spin off titles. In the To-Read pile are: Blood of Aenarion by William King Master of Devils by Dave Gross Tales from the Cobra Wars anthology by IDW Press
I'll second Gailbraithe's request for a mini of Quintessa, such a great piece of art and yes it would have to have the bird on her finger. Recently re-read the CotCT Path which I'd love to run someday, though the conversion work to Pathfinder is a bit daunting. Anyway that said, a mini of Laori Vaus would be awesome, such a great character. The seriously creepy looking orc monk/priest from page 62 of Skeletons of Scarwall! The Wriggling Man/Worm That Walks gets my vote too.
My list would have to include: The 13th Warrior
Cartoons: The Black Cauldron
TV Series: Game of Thrones
I have to agree with John, he does look pretty awesome. Found a photo of him here: http://www.miniature-giant.com/Images-Reaper-Miniatures/60082.jpg A very nice sculpt... shame my players already destroyed him in our campaign, I ended up using the skeletal cyclops pre-painted plastic mini from the DDM line for him.
Right now I've just started listening to the Captain America: The First Avenger soundtrack by Alan Silvestri. First time I've ever bought a soundtrack without having seen the film/show it was written for, so its an interesting experience listening to these bits of music without the image from the screen in my mind. Thoroughly enjoying it too I might add.
