About Morvius Ratarion
The youngest son of a lesser noble house, Morvius spends most of his time listening to the crazed imp "K'van" ever-perched on his shoulder, the strange creature having chosen to help the young man achieve true mastery over magic, in particular that of Hellfire. (Even stranger is that this imp seems to prefer the form of a fish while advocating ever-grander displays of flame from its "master"!)
When not pursuing control over the magic within his veins, Morvius tries to keep in contact with his older half-sister, one of Her Infernal Majestrix's handmaidens, and to avoid the notice of his older half-brother, a sadistic beast of a man who now has a legion of Cheliax's finest troops to command, instead of just one little brother to order about.
