[ood]Yeah. I've struggled with that for action sequences as well. Worked well for a ritual spell, and some research, but not so well for disarming a ticking bomb under pressure. I understand the -2 for number of snake men, but maybe the guidance of Unoch would have given a +2 cancelling that out??? [/ooc]

Bella's exposure to the dangers of the city have made her tougher. She is now ready for the next adventure of her life. She is sad that one of her friends is dead, and one is missing...

Bella will do her best to try and hide out until daylight. She will keep to the shadows and back alleys, and try to find something to disguise herself with. If she can find any she'll find a group of lepers to hide out with...anything to get through the night until she can think more clearly in the morning.

She will try to find the best hiding place she can after putting some distance on the current area. Dry well, Rooftop, Refuse dump whatever is available.

I'm a bit disappointed that my great Persuasion rolls didn't put the guard on my side. What would I need to roll for that?

"Good". "You are so kind". "Shall we go up to my room and wait"? Bella stands very close to the man, and 'accidentally' brushes up against him from time to time. "And I am so parched". "Perhaps we could take some cold ale or wine upstairs as well...and see what comes up".

Since Bella made her Vigor role (No raise) last turn, I'm assuming that she is now no longer shaken. Her intent is to seduce this guard, then either make her escape by faking the need to use the facilities, or to incapacitate this guard, then make her escape. She will then find someway to disguise herself, and try to blend into the city, while waiting for some sign of Thesh.

Does Bella see anyone familiar and friendly as she enters the inn?

As an OOC question. Bella's Amazon trait, let's her make an immediate fighting roll against anyone who rolls a "1" on their attack dice as a free attack. Since Guard one did this twice she would normally have gotten a free attack against him, but she didn't since she was shaken. Have I interpreted this correctly?

Cutting and pasting the above roll seems to have made the same results...tried 3x, so I'm going to post the bennie roll in another thread.

Bella gracefully exits the window and seems to glide down the wall, until about halfway down, she hears a cry of pain from one of her comrades... should she go or stay and fight... then she remembers they are not females, and continues her descent.

Bella, then just drops the gem into her belt pouch, pulls it out again, and holds it up to the light to see the sparkle one more time, then puts it back in to stay.

"I think if I caught a man trying to cut my purse with this in it he might lose an arm instead of just a hand".

"Am I to suppose that there is at least a general plan on how we are to accomplish this". "For some reason I don't believe that Thresh bullying his way through all the tyrant's guards would be successful, and we are new here, and know not his ways".

Cool on the re-spending of my advance. Bella is learning slowly how to deal with others, and her "persuasive" skills seem to be getting better. (Add Persuasion skill).
