@Wonko: I loved your 4E excel sheet in the early days. As a spreadsheet designer, do you have a good recommendation of an excel sheet for Pathfinder character building? I have something called Pathfinder sCoreGen and it looks pretty good, but a little out of date.
I think you might have me confused with another Wonko the Sane, as much as I'd like to claim credit. I guess there are some other big Douglas Adams fans out there who play a lot of D&D, huh.
To address your first question, 7s are PFS legal but you might get a dirty look from some of the players. I only rarely drop a stat to 7, unless I have a strong concept that fits it, but then, I usually roll dice in my home games.
