DESCRIPTION
He is one twitchy individual. His background has made him wary of people,
but it has also made him good at reading them. He typically dresses like a
Varsian.

BACKGROUND
Unhappy Childhood/Religious (+2 spellcraft)
Gar was left in an orphanage, he never knew who his parents were. The
"mother" of the place sold him to Gaedren, who worked him like a dog. 1 day
he observed a cleric of Gozreh saying a blessing on a ship, the elf took
obvious care of his wooden holy symbol, so Gar stole it. But then, couldn't
bear to turn it in. Eventually, Gaedren discovered it and started beating Gar
(for not turning it in and for bringing back a worthless hunk of wood). During
the middle of the beating a wolf appeared and attacked Gaedren, buying Gar
enough time to get away. For some inexplicable reason, he went back to the
priest and returned the holy symbol. The elf recognized the signs and took Gar
as an Acolyte.
Living in the elven enclave in South Shore put Gar beyond Gaedrens reach.
Rejecting his original name, he calls himself "The Fury of the Storm", or
Fury for short. He has been hunting for vengeance for a few months, but hasn't
been able to track down the villainous scum. He is begining to lose hope and
his nightmares have been getting worse.
His master wanted them both to go on a pilgrimage to the Mierani Forest, but
Fury can't leave until this last piece of his past is taken care of.
Currently his day job is blessing ships, asking Gozreh for fair winds
and such. He has a small room at the Pantheon of Many temple in South Shore
and during the day hangs out at a respectable (at least respectable for it's
location) in a decent section of the docks in East Shore.
