Both systems have strengths and weaknessess.

I think if we go by the challenges the players will be facing:

PF1) Makes you think you're actually a Hero
PF2) Makes you think you're actually an adventurer

Both are fine, pf1 have more unique options but pf2 is the more balanced game where everyone can be expected to contribute around evenly.

They'll more than likely have other weaknesses to exploit, cmd, ac, touch, flat fotted etc.

but really I don't think your players are necessary all that high up in the saves for you to be all that concerned.(granted somewhat high for mono class)

The only character i've had at that level range was a lvl 17 fighter/Slayer with 14 lvls lore warden and 3 lvls spirit slayer.
His saves were: Fort 22, Ref 24, Will 20.
Yet even with saves like this he'd typically fail 1/3 or 1/4 attempts. we were hit a lot with failed will saves in that campaign.

Our save champ character who i think made a mistake getting these high numbers somewhere but as they are listed at lvl 17: Fort 24, Ref 33 will 29 add to that evasion. ac 46, cmd 59

It sounds to me like you just need them to make more saves and they should fail sooner or later.

Then again I've never Gm'ed

L from death note would be a different take on a detective to the traditional one, but just as qualified.
A person who view solving crimes as a game rather than a job

A very tough mono class option would probably be the "Drake rider" Cavalier archtype.
You give up basically everything to get a drake, and if said drake die you'll be without a new one for 7 years, add to it it's not necessary better than your original mount(and at high level it might be troublesome moving around due to size)

If you go for a party you could play a "Weapon Bearer Squire" more or less focusing on making sure your knights gear is in top shape, a squire without a knight now that would be unfortunate

all depends on how you run the ancestors weapon.
It could have a ceremonial value or specialize against a most hated foe or whatever you decide.

If your melee focused then Monk is often Ideal to get in.
THough if the goal is lvl 20 i think lvl 8 or 12 makes more sense to leave druid at(leaving with all animal shapes or with max bonus to spells such as barkskin)

To most a worthless topic, but I can't help but be curious why was this Sauropod chosen as a representative for the "Titanosaurs" group?

Since it isn't the dinosaur's scientific name anymore and the info about the dinosaur also sound remarkable outdated(basing it of d20 though)

All of this makes me wonder is this to "make up" the dinosaur that so many thought they knew growing up? I admit I liked the name Brontosaurus better than Apatosaurus and have grown up with it as the biggest dinosaur in Dinoriders and hearing about it's name in the Flintstones.

I'm also curious if we perhaps one day might get the heavy weight "Argentinosaurus" in pathfinder a dinosaur that going by wikipedia should be anything from 2x the size of "Brontosaurus" all the way up to 7-8 times as heavy

Personally I'd be annoyed if the gear was permanently lost and no option of regaining it or get a fair option of replacing it was there, but if the plot gave a way to regain it then it could be an interesting move.
See what the party can do with professions, crafts, survival etc. rather than be combat driven for the time being.

Multiclass and get dex to ac, wis to ac and cha to ac.
from what i've seen so far it can make a character with great saves ac,fort, ref and wil and competent damage.

The character in question was multiclassed between monk, swashbuckler and paladin

Thanks for the replies Sheepish &
Orfamay. I haven't finished gearing up the character but almost done.
Might go back and throw away some AC items for more fun(Or I might just choose not to use Combat Expertise etc)

The Way the Character is atm at his best(can be so for a couple of rounds a day):

AC: 58
Touch: 34
Flat: 38
Fort: 26
Ref: 25
Will: 27
CMB: +38
CMD: 58

Avg dmg a round of combat: ~55 dmg a hit with 7 attacks
Possibly higher depending on damage scaling out of the listed Table (table i've seen gos to lvl 20 but the character should be treated as lvl 30 due to bonuses from favored class & Magic Items
