Just realized my last mission ran with Avoreal, where she hit level 20, your sorcerer Antonius was also along for the ride! How I wish they would put some 20+ level content out..

The air around you coalesces into a form of pure energy. Suddenly there is a loud crack of electricity and before you stands an elven dream..

Standing 5'8" tall this fair elven lady wears dark blue robes with stars embroidered on it and she carries a staff etched in eldritch runes, a giant ruby sets atop it. Her golden blonde hair is kept up by a silver needle and despite her beauty she carries a stern look on her face, her sharp blue eyes command obidience. Occasional sparks of electricity animate where she goes and the immediate air around her subtly humes with arcane power. The prescence of Archmage Starseeker is impressive if not a little terrifying.

"Greetings Pathfinders! I am here to assist in this endeavor! Stay vigil and know that you are not alone. I am off to the frontlines!"

She casts a spell and disappears from sight again..

I am level 20 as well! Thanks for DMing and to my group who has ran so many adventures with me. Not discounting Antonius as you did splendid, but Vars, Vuvu, and Duhwoo have put a many mile behind us. Kinda sad it's all over.

Avoreal flies up 30' for a better view of the gates and tries to determine whats making them open and how to close them..

She casts Foresight to try and gleam more info..

Avoreal moves up to get a look.

"A Wendigo! How fascinating! Would love to study it closer.."

She casts a spell attempting the turn it to stone.

SR: 1d20 + 32 ⇒ (9) + 32 = 41

Casting Persistent Flesh to Stone(DC 32 Fort).

If it manages not to turn to stone she hits it with a Quickened Slow(DC 27 Will).

SR: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (17) + 28 = 45

Avoreal will ready a Dazing Magic Missile in case the thing survives Duhwoo..

Alright. I hadn't listed knowledge skill do to space on the sheet. I will continue to roll myself.

Know Planes: 1d20 + 39 ⇒ (11) + 39 = 50 Not sure why im not rolled for..

Avoreal waits for Antonius to dispel the FoM and then removes the polymorph.

Dispel Check: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (18) + 20 = 38 removes her own spell.

Avoreal casts Polymorph Any Object(DC 32 Fort) on the Assassin, so he/she may be interrogated later. Subject is turned into a small turtle if it fails. A stunned turtle more than likely.

If successful..

"Do not attack the turtle Duhwoo"

Avoreal moves up to Duhwoo's area..

Perc: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (4) + 25 = 29 Not sure if she can see the assassin. I'll wait to determine that.

Avoreal will fly down into purples face and defensively cast Persistent Flesh to Stone(DC 32 Fort) on him/her. Cannot fail the conc check.. If she can see Blue caster she will quicken a dazing magic missile on him, DC 23 Will to negate the 1 round daze.

MM Dam if she can see him: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (3, 4, 3, 3, 1) + 5 = 19

Avoreal will try to move up and join the rest of the group.. swift action for +4 bonus again.

CMB: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 8 + 4 = 26

Yea it's only +8, not sure why I had +10 down.. I can use perfection of self as a swift for +4 to the roll though.

CMB: 1d20 + 8 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 8 + 4 = 25

Does Ring of Freedom of Movement apply at all?

Flying just slightly above the crowd, Avoreal takes her time, confident the others will catch the thief. She has no CMB or Sense Motive and since 9th level magic cannot negate the situation this is all she can do.

Avoreal lifts up into the air and flies after the man.

As far as I can tell the crown is the only obstacle? Flying should negate them all together. I considered an extended timestop, but I suppose that would take all of the fun out of it for everyone else.

Not to be a pooper on the parade, but can we just dimenstion door to the square in front on him?

Not sure how long its been but Avoreal casts extended mass fly on the party before the rat slaying incident. It lasts 400 mins so may be active unless it's been over 7 hours since then.

Avoreal casts a spell and teleports herself, Antonius and Vuvu outside the building..

She has 60' of fly left, unless it's been 7 hours since mass fly was casts, otherwise 40' of flight to chase one.

If she has some of them in line of sight she will quicken a dazing magic missiles sending one missile at 5 different targets.. DC is 23 will to beat the daze if she hits a real one.

Question before I act, have the dozens of shadowy assassins already left the building or can they be seen on their way to fleeing?And they are all running out of the same entrance?

Avoreal checks it for traps then gets to either disarming or unlocking it if it's not trapped.

She will use her spell if it is magically trapped.

Perc: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (15) + 25 = 40 with detect magic
Disable: 1d20 + 29 ⇒ (4) + 29 = 33 +4 more if it's magical and she needs to cast the spell.

Not sure how far we have to walk, but I have a teleport that can get us all there in an instant, so feel free to grill him some more.

"Better answer the man, it would be shame if he took those gauntlets to yea.."

Telepathy..

"Ha.. I was about to suggest a Meteor Swarm this time. I promise I won't kill anything that doesn't need it."

Avoreal nods to the VC and floats out as well.

"I think you have to have one more go and head offing before you can kill it.. Attacking the main body will do so when it's time."

Via telepathy.. "Guys, the fight has to last a minimum of 40 seconds for use to get paid.. How bout missing a bit and pretending to be challenged.."

Arcana: 1d20 + 39 ⇒ (17) + 39 = 56

"Give it the ole heave hoe Duhwoo!!"

she turns to the group..

"I think I said that right.. I do not often speak Hillbilly."

Since we are not in the fight may we make bets on it?

"Try not to kill it quickly.. The longer it goes the more coing we make is what I'm hearing."

Avoreal shrugs.. Via Telepathy..

Avoreal weaves a powerful spell and lightning springs from her fingertips tearing through a number of the rat things..

Casting Dazing Chain Lightning, DC 28 Reflex for main target, DC 26 for the others.

Main target is the purple wererat. She can have 20 additional bolts that hit rats she can see all within 30' of the primary. I will target the dark red, orange, black, dark blue, light blue, and pink square wererats, as well as the pink circle. Targeting 10 dire rats in the middle portion of the room as well. I think thats all she can see.

Primary Bolt: 20d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 1, 4, 3, 3, 2, 2, 3, 6, 2, 6, 1, 5, 1, 1, 1, 6, 3) = 65
Secondary Bolts: 20d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 5, 4, 6, 4, 6, 2, 6, 1, 4, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4, 1, 3, 2) = 73

If they fail the save they are dazed for 6 rounds as well..

Unless something dispels her greater invisibility she is still invis after the magic missile.

Avoreal dealys her action in case another guard enters the room.

Avoreal will pull her out lesser dazing rod and modify a magic missile targeting the guard..

MM Damage: 5d4 + 5 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 1, 4) + 5 = 19 plus a DC 23 will save or be dazed a round..

Avoreal pulls a rod from her haversack and casts extended greater invisibility on herself..

Lasts 40 rounds

Im back, follow group in.

I can disable magic traps if neccessary, I can also summon some powerful beings to assit if neccessary.

GM, I will be heading out of town on a hunting trip this afternoon and will not be back till Sunday evening. I will have internet access, but my posting time will be limited. If need be Antonius may bot her actions as he seems to have his head around arcane casters.

Every time I get a chance to check the boards there is 20 posts lol..

"Wait, are we sure we aren't in some alternate dimension and we are actually the Consortium? Are missions sound an awful lot like some s*~% they would be doing lol.."

Avoreal extends heroism and heightened awareness at this point. She also extends Mass Fly on the party.

Avoreal will start the new day with Mindblank, Moment of Prescience, Overland Flight, and Greater False Life.

She will stow her Wayfinder of Infinite Doorways away into ther Haversack to avoid future Society alignment questions..

Having grown accustomed to the Societies ways long ago the elven mage watches the paladin say her piece and storm off.. A slight noticeable smile comes across her face.

"Aye! Could be a nice security feature if you knew the reverse of the spell or had some Basilisk blood ha.."

GM, with her delay in the first round would the Flesh to Stone not have been at the end of the round 1? She should be at last initiative in round 2 if I'm not mistaken. It's possible I am mistake though.
