Backstory
Aven was a bright youngster, curious about how things worked - always taking things apart, and putting them back together (not too successfully at first, anyway)... his parents, who were engineers assigned to Moon Base Toth, made sure he got a good education, and encouraged his curiosity, while watching that he didn't touch anything critical to the Bases' functioning. When he got older and joined the Security Office he found that he got do do a bit of everything in his job function - Mechanic, Engineer, even some occasional security work (well, supporting security work - but still). He makes friends easily, and his generally positive disposition makes him generally liked.
Connections
Marcus Aurelius Carter Aven met Marcus early on in training, and the two became friends. They've worked together on several tasks, and while Marcus' dedication to the job makes him not so great as a drinking buddy sometimes, it makes the job easier. Now, if Aven could just get him to ease up on the support calls...
Ephraim Cole Ephraim's name has come up several times during inquiries Aven's been involved with. Aven isn't sure of his eact level of involvement, but to see Ephraim's name so often... Well. Where's there's smoke... Right?
Emilyene Shadye Her name has also been mentioned in some investigations - usually linked somehow to Ephraim. Aven isn't sure if they just know each other, or if there might be some type of 'business' relationship between them.
Estelle Beaumont Estelle conducts the regular refresher courses the Security staff have to go through for various medical issues, as well as providing services to members of service or detainees, like the time Marcus got shot apprehending a suspect on a operation Aven was involved with.
