Background - K’taq K’triqiq of the Blooded Feathers Roost has a much longer formal tengu name of “he annoints himself in ash to speak for those who have passed to the judgment of Pharsma”. He was a professional “deathspeaker” [think O.S.C.-esque “Speaker for the Dead”] for those who have no family to speak at their funeral or for those who are so hated none would dare]. His mate was a dirge bard who was killed by a pack of ghouls and urdefahn – she now awaits him in Pharasma’s realm, where the two will seek to become psychopomps after he too has slipped the mortal coil. After her death, he became a more militant follower of the Lady of Graves and now seeks out opportunities to stymie and combat undead upon Golarion. With the resources of the Society and their centuries of research and notes on combating the undead he feels that as a Pathfinder he has great opportunities to both directly assist in his mission of war against the undead and to someday perhaps be published in the Chronicles and have his anti-undead tactics live on beyond his time in the only true manner of immortality he would support for himself (at this point).
