Female Human Brawler 1 / Spiritualist 1
Apparently I wasn't seeing the updates on this gameplay! I came here to check what was going on and see there I am like an entire page behind. Sorry, team. I will try to catch up ASAP. If this happens in the future, please feel free to bot Arue (sometimes the Paizo site acts, especially when I am on my phone, but I will always eventually start inspecting the gameplay threads when I don't see movement in some days) Initiative: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Arue looks at her own weaponry as well. Her weapon of preference was her rifle, and she was more used to work as a sort of sniper. I am more useful far, far from the targets, but at least I might be able to set my weapons to stun. Not that it wouldn't hurt as hell... Neither I would be able to guarantee they'd be lethal even in such setting. - she spoke, in her usual bland, emotionless manner.

The soldier just looked at the others and sighed loudly. She could only hope they'd be useful later, and as skilled with weaponry as they were with their tongues. As a droid, Arue supposedly can't roll on any skills she isn't trained in, so she really can't pilot even if her attributes would suggest differently... Unless I'm reading the rules wrong.

Alderaan. - Arue says, unimpressed as she looks around - Looks busy. What are we doing here? The soldier speaks with an almost monotone rhythm. Her weapons are visible, but stowed, and the way she dresses and speaks sound as if she's fully licensed and trained to use them.

Arue finds a spot for her and pulls the belt, before looking at Dreamchaser. She sat near the Catharese and, like him, didn't have much to particularly do on the endeavor of piloting or operating ship guns. Don't you love these last hour? - the soldier says, sarcastically, taking the rifle out of her back holster and placing on her lap - Just what I planned to do when I woke up this morning.

Arue stops and sighs for a long while, pretending to breath in the process. She had learned enough to be able to do it. Unfortunately I can't pilot, neither I'm proficient with heavy weaponry... Yet, though I plan to eventually be able to. I guess I'm ready to go, though - and hopefully things won't get too rough with the ship. Finally back and Paizo-old-cookies free!

Arue sighs, but knows best it's time to move. She could only hope this would end up in some credits, but within her she was glad to find out more about what really was going on, especially if it was something the Empire would dislike. The soldier nodded quickly, military, then moved towards the doors to inspect and give the clear.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28 Arue kept looking around with curiosity. What was that place? Everything seemed odd, including that protocol droid. Was it an Imperial droid? She remembers they have those black ones. Or maybe something stolen and repurposed. As LE-M-07d spoke, she just pretended she couldn't understand. Her best defense would always, always be deception. She had been in jail for enough time to know when something looks like a trap, but yet there was something about this particular occasion that sounded somewhat different. Finally, she turned to the hurt woman, ignoring the droid. Who are you, and what are we doing here? - and as she spoke, her hand touched her blaster pistol, as if being ready to draw if needed. Her rifle was likely a lot more dangerous, but inappropriate for this type of situation.

Arue looks around, confused. Apparently, she was pulled into it - and she would definitely have a quite hard time explaining she wasn't involved in anything, regardless of not being. With the thought in mind - and a will to help, that she can't really fight - the replica droid moves to keep up with the strange women and the even stranger people surrounding her.

Arue didn't move a muscle - as a survivor, she knew better when to do so. She pretty much noticed things happening and quickly escalating around her, and fought her instinct to just leave that cantina - even this kind of movement could be taken the wrong way. Yet, something on her was almost pushing her to go check on the woman. She pulled her poncho up. It was unnatural for her to ignore suffering, despite what all her surviving flags were telling her, so her eyes couldn't help but stay focused in the entire action.

This is awesome! Add the link to the Campaign tab, GM :) I hope you guys liked my background. It took me a while to put it together! I wanted to make it more like a small chronicle, and maybe you don't mind that I used some... "known" characters in it, despite nowadays Arue having no more contact with any of them.

Arue finished cleaning her rifle, right after her shift. The mission was complete, and the very few credits were still something positive. She was hired to guard that ship, and was glad things went uneventfully. As she locked the weapon on the back magnetic holster, she started walking towards the nearby cantina. Hopefully someone would be trying to get more mercenaries for some job - since, at this point, she was fairly open again.
Hi GM! Archlich here with my character, Arue Karinn. I followed the concept I mentioned above (of a Grey Maiden... "hidden", of course, and hopefully advancing her to get to the Sanguine Angel prestige class). She is a gestalt of antipaladin (tyrant) of asmodeus/vigilante (masked maiden), with the chelish noble campaign trait. I added all the details on the profile, but please feel free to request more if I forgot anything. |
