NG (male) Ysoki (nograv) Operative 1 |SP 8/8, HP 8/8, RP 4/5|EAC 15, KAC 16|F +2 (+6 v. rad), R +6, W +2|Init +5|DV60'|[Dice=Harmonic Dirge Pistol]1d20+4[/Dice][Dice=Sonic dmg]1d3[/Dice] [Dice=Subzero Hail Pistol]1d20+4[/Dice][Dice=Cold/Piercing dmg]1d4[/Dice] |Speed 30|Active Conditions: none

During the trip, Bega tests to see if Loreseeker understands Ysoki. If it does, he gives the ship commands in that language. If not, he uses Pact-tongue.

Loreseeker wrote:
If Bega is still on the bridge, the Loreseeker's soft feminine voice asks, Would you like to take manual control to drop out of Drift? Or shall I implement standard Drift exit procedures?

Bega nearly wets himself with excitement and calls out, "Manual!" without thinking it through.

Taking manual control, he looks for the rest of the exploration fleet and steers Loreseeker toward it.

Piloting: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

He engages the ship's intercom system, "Gentlebeings, we have arrived at our destination. Brace for possible sudden maneuvers, there be black holes here!"

Bega then uses the ship's sensor systems to see what he can learn about the system that wasn't in Xxivk's data dump.

Computers: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

Albern begins his perfectly good, reasonable rampage only to discover that this silly goblin doesn't have the common decency to die. He kicks on the ground where a head should be, only to discover he's gotten ahead of himself.

He must be the cap'n! A tough n' scurvy goblin he reasons.

If you don't mind, drag me back to east of purple Art. On phone again and won't have a chance to go to roll20 tonight/tomorrow

LOL! No, I don't mind at all! Done!

Well, the case died last Monday when the Court denied certiorari (the fancy Latin that boils down to they have too much on their plate to make room for this just now). I've been prepping it for return to the state court system and bumming that what might've been my one shot at having a case before the Court has come and gone.

There is a weird silver lining. The fact that my client let a NY firm poach brief-writing duties on the very last brief leaves the possibility that if I had gotten to write the brief, as I had done all the others, the case might've been picked up. So at least I'm not getting the stink eye on this one, and I am not sitting here wondering what else I could have done to make it happen.

"I love it! This is almost but not quite the best present ever!" He slings the polearm and shouts! Completely oblivious to propriety, he runs up to give Mr. Gribb a hug, likely lifting the poor man off his feet Overfilled with enthusiasm, he'll then hug embrace Bray, Penelope, the dogs, the horses and so forth, dancing lightly inbetween each target.

Mr. Gribb gingerly permits the hug and mumbles something to himself.

"Yes, well snake, my mother-in-law is quite mean, too, and there are certainly days on which I think she needs to die. However, it has not come to that quite yet. Answer Pastor Narvik's question, why bargain with us rather than flee now while her forces are under attack? Are you hoping to take over after we've killed her?'

Pribam wonders whether he knows if hobgoblins in general would even consider following a goblin snake, if that turns out to be the filthy thing's plan.

Pribam pretends to be afraid as he describes hobgoblins, then bugbears, to test what the man means. "Bugbears? You mean the guys who look like buff humans with gray skin and beady eyes? Or the guys with black and brown fur, pig snouts, and huge eyes? Or both?"

Pribam retires for the evening. No respectable Acolyte of the Third Step would stoop to purchasing favors. Attention from the faithful is expected in his station, not bought.
