Seeing the arcs of electrical energy coming off the dome like bubble that seemed to separate us from other normal looking figures, I feel some of this energy surge against my hand and I flinch. It seemed to sting a little but I felt that I could bust thru this electrical/spiritual barrier with minor injuries.

But could my new companions do the same? Would they have the strength?

Hearing the strange "Ort?" sound from behind, I turn back to Sora and May. Walking over to them slowly, whispering once I got close enough:
"my new found friends, I don't think we should be here much longer. The claniods seem to have caught on to our presence."

Knowing that this also wasn't apart of how the game system was played and being the man that I wanted to be I begin to position myself slightly in front of Sora and May as to shield them from any damage the schoolgirls might could inflict. Also I sort of nod them toward the bubble dome, picking up the clay pot that was closest to us. Turning to Sora,"I'm going to try and hold them off if anything gets tricky... for now you both should head thru the dome quickly."
Placing the emergency backpage on the ground in front of me, I reach inside and grab the cloak that seemed to soak up the essence of the light around it and my quill that seemed to glow even brighter within my hands...

not hearing the little claniod looking figure at first, I go over and pick up the feathers and return, walking into Sora yelling.

"Whaaaaa... I didnt know you could speak, female Clanoid! What have you done to my surroundings?"

Escorting these "Claniods" seemed to be the name of the game until these two showed up. Piece of garbage is playing tricks with my mind... Peculiar as well that these "two" need escorting across.
I've played this game now for about a zillion times.....

Am I going MAD?!?!

Instantly, I thought that both of them or at least one could be a glitch within the gaming system. Being engrossed within the game for so long I try to think as rationally as possible.

But this GaMe....I MuSt Go On!

Trying to snap back into reality, I replay what the little one had said again..

Repeating the line again...
"Where have you taken us?"

Recomposing myself,"Hold on, did you say where have 'I' taken you both? Now I know I'm not going crazy."

"My name is Hiro, and it seems that I'm- we're stuck within this game system within the abandoned Mall. Unfortunately, it (the system) seems to feel the need to embellish my childhood life from Academy days."

Seeing this arcade machine simulating what appears to be my adolescent years in secondary academy, I begin to quietly examine the workings of the game in its entirety(controls, monitor, coin deposit, etc.) Finding that it seemed to play like a game from my past, Mischief Makers.

As the head prefect in the school, I was commonly tasked with monitoring the main hall during class exchange. Most of the time I would have to stop kids from running or occasionally breakup a fight. So within the game I found myself doing the same as the main character would do within the game. Moving students from one place to the next to make achievements and answering various questions when purposed to me by the "Clanoid" students. I see that organization and analytical thinking seem to be the name of this game and not to brag but I tend to master such skill checks.

Getting to the boss battle with all its glory, like I've been waiting for this moment for years I sort of take a step back and think to myself that I now have gotten a little too engrossed in this game machine. Turning back to the game because of the music exuding begins to overwhelm my inward contemplation. With its final chime of terror she appears, my mother.

One look up at her and I freeze in terror as she lets out the words, "Why must you wear those pants and not a skirt Miku my daughter?" and at that moment I feel my heart begin to crumble with her disappointment. With this, the screen fades to black and I feel my conscientiousness being moved to a a familiar location. I open my eyes and I'm back to the starting point of which I begin, the main hall of my secondary academy.
