The Bekyar aren't a tribe, and at this point neither are the Vidric people.

I believe they are referred to as a tribe by the Inner Sea world guide. They definitely are on the Pathfinder Wiki. And this group of people certainly meet the definition of a tribe. As a tribal person myself, Choctaw Nation, it seems from your response that you view "tribe" as an insulting or derogatory term. If that's true, then that itself is more problematic than someone using the reference in an obviously innocent manner.

I have travelled through Africa on several occasions and the people I met there more often than not identified themselves by their ancestral tribal affiliations. And they were quite happy to learn mine, and referred to me in that way far more often than as an "American". I am also well aware, personally, of the way that term can be used in a derogatory manner. But that is done by a narrow subset of ignorant people. But for us who actually identify, live, and function in tribal contexts it is something we cherish. We own that word as a moniker of pride. Unlike people who only have a country, I have an extended family that I can largely count on to aid me in times of trouble even as I aid them, connected by strong bonds of ancestry and culture. Tribe is a good thing.

Alex, Thursty, and anyone else who might be listening --

Complete agreement. I've run the scenario 2x since the pandemic (3x overall) for different groups. It is fun, and wonderful, and I don't want to run it again for a long time. There shouldn't be a "required" adventure to get the symbol of society membership. As others have said, a rational cost for those who didn't play the adventure would be more than appropriate.

I'm like 90% sure it's currently just 1-99 and 2-00.

3-00 Should be coming out in June (at Origins) with the Nova tag.

As for options to run 2-00...
There are 2 or 3 online opportunities to run 2-00 this year, via PbP and VTT.

Thanks, I was a little confused when I read that requirement in the guide because it made it sound like the tag was a bit more common than just he big convention modules.

Is there a list of which scenario numbers have the Nova tag? I've passed my 4th nova and want to get in position to earn my 5th.

Executive summary: ...

between Guides 1.0 and 1.1, language was added to the hireling boon specifying that it could only attempt each type of check (bluff, diplomacy, and intimidate in my case) once per scenario. It wasn’t in a changelog and there were no mentions of the difference on the messageboards, so I totally missed it until someone who was newer and hadn’t seen Guide 1.0 pointed it out.

I've encountered this a few times myself with different interpretations. Looking at the latest version of the guide the wording problem persists. Taken in its most natural context the guide definitely appears to say that a each skill check from the list of available skills for that ally type can be made once. So one Diplomacy check per scenario with that kind of Ally slotted. That may not be the intent since a computer with AI can perform some skill checks for a player without that limit. But that is how it reads. Some clarification from the game devs would be good on this issue.

Normally I GM locally a lot, last month I ran 7 games between PF and SF, plus some 13th Age. I'm relatively new to the society, and I have a very rare opportunity to do a lot of playing at Gencon this year. Hence the VERY late request.

I am looking for SFS boon: Rabid Fan Base (Social Boon)

which would be perfect for my character. Unfortunately I tend to give away my boons as fast as I get them to new players, especially the teens who show up at my table to learn the games.

So I think I'm allowed to be creative in a non-$$ way? So I have a vast collection of board/card/rpg supplements I could trade (if that's allowed). I could donate to the charity of your choice in your name and pass along the tax form. Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity for some agreed upon hours, serve at the local homeless shelter, do afterschool tutoring for the underprivileged, run a some modules for you, bury myself in ice water, or whatever works.

I would also love to be inducted into the manifold host if anyone has a recruitment spot.

Thanks for reading my last minute request and hope to see you at Gencon :)
