Aazanar rushes in and tries to move some rubble out of the way to free the dwarf.

Aazanar carefully scans the floor ahead, then moves ahead quietly and tries to peer around the far corner.

Guys: I've been having internet connectivity issues the last few days. My connection has been going out for long periods. I'm hoping that the problem is over but I can't say for sure.

I'm going to try and get caught up but since my window for posting may be limited I will handle threads that require short posts first.

After leaving the booth, Aazanar sits down again and meditates while the camera crew breaks things down.

Switching Stellar Influence back to Graviton for +1d6 to stealth checks.

Have we fully explored the level we are on before going up the rubble stairs? It sounds like we have but if not I would probabbly want to do that first.

Afterwards, Aazanar springs to his feet and heads to the collapsed stairway. Aazanar quickly ascends the pile of rubble. "Here, AMOSU. Let me give you a hand," he says, reaching down to haul AMOSU up.

I assume we can take 10 to climb?

Athletics Take 10 to Climb: 10 + 10 = 20

Once upstairs he has a look around. "What do we have here? Anyone have a sample kit? We should get some of that glowing fungus."

I'll wait for a map before discussing possible exits.

"Well, what do we have here? The goblins opened a way to go up. Funny, I figured we would be going down for most of this mission. But if there's moisture up there... there might be something alive. Either that or someone left the tap running."

Is the hole the goblins made the only way out?

When Wazasha calls Aazanar over for a "booth" session, he nods. "Okay, just give me a minute to prepare." He sits on the ground cross-legged, and closes his eyes. After a minute he opens his eyes and heads over to the booth.

I'll meditate for a minute to activate Photon Sidereal Influence (which will give me +1d6 to diplomacy).

"Well, I suppose I can see why they might think that. But it's not the killing that's exciting. It's the risk. You don't train as a Solar Knight so you can work in a pillow factory! Every time you get into a battle, that fight could be your last. If you're good, and lucky, you survive. If not..." Aazanar makes a motion with his hand cutting across his neck. "Ack! Ha ha!" he grins.

"I don't have anything against goblins specifically, but they are mean, sneaky, and aggressive. Those weren't spud guns they were shooting at us! You never know what tricks they might have up their sleeve. Lucky for us, their 'big trick' seemed to go off just before we got there."

Aazanar turns a bit more serious.

"The other thing is, everyone on a Starfinder team has a job to do. Mine is to engage enemies and put them down. The faster I do that, the less chance those enemies have to hurt any of my friends. So if they're shooting to kill, you have to move fast."

"Has he? Well, good for him. Ha!" Aazanar chuckles. "This is still a Starfinder mission. It's not a competition, and we get paid the same no matter who your audience likes. What's important is that the mission gets completed. We each have a job to do and if we all do that then everybody wins." Aazanar smiles.

"And hopefully, we both put on a good show while we're at it." He winks at the camera, and gives his best fey grin.

Aazaar dismisses the solar weapon, which turns back into the solar mote lazily floating over his right shoulder.

"Yeah, that seemed to go very well. Everyone all right? Let's have a look around."

Aazanar begins to search the area for anything of interest.

"I'll get him!" yells Aazanar.

Aazanar runs over to where Amosu stands, and seeing the goblin, he rushes towards it with terrifying speed. As he approaches the goblin he swings the solar weapon overhand, bringing it down on the goblin.

Pretty sure this is legal:
1. Move action to where AMOSU is standing.
2. Use Stellar Rush to make a charge as a standard action at no penalties.

Stellar Rush (Solar Weapon vs. KAC): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Solar Weapon Damage +1 Photon Mode: 1d6 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 1 = 15

Thanks... but you should probably hit Faraeon next... I have a lot of stamina and can go a bit longer without healing than the lower-level guys.

Aazanar looks at the goblins in the next chamber and grits his teeth. But then he thinks... If I go after those guys, the camera crew won't see it! Gotta show off while I can!

He runs towards the north, then jumps in the air, rebounding off the wall in front of him to land to the east, next to the unsuspecting goblin.

"Say cheese!" he says, grinning as he brings down the solar weapon.

So: moving with athletics to jump (I'm not sure what the roll would be but it's probably pretty easy considering I'm not doing anything I couldn't do with a normal move) and then standard attack.

Athletics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17

With a blaze of light, Aazanar conjures his solar weapon. The mote becomes a miniature sun in his hand, and then flies in a circle around him, connected to his hand by a glowing golden chain.

"One Armadillo... Sunny-Side Up!"

Aazanar moves in, swinging wildly...

Guarded Step towards the armadillo while drawing the weapon, then standard attack.

Solar Weapon (vs. KAC): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16 ...maybe.
Solar Weapon Damage (bludgeoning) +1 Photon Mode: 1d6 + 11 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 11 + 1 = 13

I'm not sure but I'm betting this will fix it. My guess is that the string of characters in your link there is too long with no breaks in it, so it forces the text to go "out of bounds." Try putting your homepage link in an actual link. Like this:

Kiv, being that you are the only 4th level character and you have a great armor class, AND you have the best perception skill, it makes sense that you are in front. Hope you don't mind. :) Aazanar can throw spears or charge past you once combat begins.

Aazanar reaches up and grips the solar mote floating over his shoulder. It expands into a burning sphere a good teen inches in diameter. He hets it fall to reveal that it is connected to his hand by a glowing golden cord. He raises it over his head and swings it around several times, faster and faster until it becomes a golden blur above his head.

Then in the blink of an eye the ball returns to Aazanar's hand, and he releases it back into the air, where it transforms into the peacefully glowing mote floating leisurely above his shoulder once again.

"How's that?"

Okay, a question. I don't know if this is an error or that I don't understand how fame & reputation are calculated.

I had the Second Seekers (LE) faction slotted. And it says that at the top of the sheet.

On the side it says I earned 2 Fame.

At the bottom it says I earned 1 reputation with the Dataphiles.

Is that in addition to reputation with the Second Seekers or instead? And if Fame is 2 shouldn't Reputation also be 2?

FYI Bubbles' DEX bonus of +1 and +1 BAB also give Bubbles a gunnery rating of +2. So as gunners we are the same.

Part of the reason that my intimidate score is so high is that the Demand action is usually the best captain action, but the DC is also the highest.

I will definitely spend 1 RP to regain stamina. That puts me back to 14 SP and 5 HP.

I know that the elementals go before me but when my action comes up it will be pretty straightforward. As a move action I will draw my Solar Weapon, and guarded step towards an enemy if that puts me in melee range. Then if I am already in melee I will simply attack; if I am not in melee I will use stellar rush to charge as a standard action with no penalties. I prefer to aim for purple if that is possible, since it might be the harder of the two for everyone else to go after.

Aazanar draws his solar weapon and advances on the fire creatures.

"See how you like this, firebeasts!" Aazanar yells, swinging his solar flail.
