Not specific to the blog post, but a question that came up in today's game: Do large sized roc companions have reach? It's hard to tell, since there's no Bestiary entry for that sized roc.

I would go with no, because the gargantuan entry has reach 15 feet with a space of 20 feet, indicating that it is large-long, so it has 5 feet less reach than its space.

Sent a message to the VO in question to see about getting her side of the story. I would advise against making decisions about who was right and who was wrong off of a one sided thread, I have been playing PFS in the area for a while now, and have never had trouble with the leadership. I do also agree about using names on a public forum, but knowing a bit more about the personalities involved this seems a bit strange and out of character for local PFS leadership.

I would like to see any and all races opened up, but then again, I like to see what people do when all options are available, because people will come up with interesting concepts.

That said, I do have a problem with the way boons are distributed, because it makes it so that it is very difficult for most players to get boons, meaning less diversity for most people who I play with. It also encourages GMing at cons for personal benefit, in order to get boons, and not how I view that it should be, for the benefit of the table and the convention. (To be clear at this point, my stance is not about myself. I have a small number of boons and have generally been able to play what I want, and while I would not be opposed to getting more options, I think the campaign would benefit more from expanded options for everyone)

In short, I am in favor of opening up any new races that we have not seen before just to see what people would do with them.

Take a level in warpriest and use the air blessing. There is no longer any range increment penalty. You can conceivably hit a galaxy.

So do the monsters.

On the monsters' end, that is what seasoning is for. If you look, written in invisible ink in the equipment section of every stat block, is a little note telling what sort of spices they carry for when they eventually get the party. It's Paizo's biggest secret, and now that it's out------

I would think that in that case it would be even more important for the table to be broken up, not so much for mechanical benefit but for role playing enjoyment. 10 people is just too many vying for the attention of the NPC (or GM) at one time, and it would be difficult to make sure that the players get an equal share of the spotlight in that interaction.

You could probably keep the tables together if you really wanted, and some people might enjoy it, but I would be very careful that everybody gets some time to roleplay.

You are specializing too much. Why just focus on maximizing one spell for all problems when you could be a half elven sorcerer with paragon surge taking the human favored class bonus and have the right spell for any problem. You could still put a minor specialization into fireball like that, with metamagic feats and the two aforementioned traits. The benefit to that is that you can turn around and apply the metamagic feats to other spells you know when you run into a situation where fireball is not the answer (which are rare but do exist). Versatility is the sorcerer's friend and metamagic and additional spell options increase that, and while nothing is wrong with having a favorite spell, you may find yourself bored if that spell is useless, and a bored player means that things (read party members) start dying from random fireballs (but I was just trying to kill the thing, its not my fault you were in the way and it was immune to my attacks). Don't get bored!

The Traitors Lodge can also be an amazing haunted house, especially if you have a good GM. It will scare the crap out of you with both descriptions and mechanics if done right. Our GM used 3D models for the battle mat and it was intense.

Also, that one point evolution is for a class that is awkwardly balanced. Lets leave the debate for another thread, but many regard the summoner as broken, or at least poorly balanced.

It would not work. Adept familiar requires summon familiar class feature. EH arcane is not a class feature. It grants a familiar, but not the "summon familiar" ability.
As worded, although interesting, it is, unfortunately, not legal.

My druid character just dropped out of the pfs. Strangely though, his spionosaurus AC just JOINED the pfs. Eventually, they will have the same intelligence at 5(yay stupids!).
This is going to be interesting to roleplay from here on, with the dino as the pathfinder.

The Sewer Dragons of Absalom:
There is an illusion of a blue dragon. I actually had my players so convinced that it was real that the paladin wasted a smite on it. When he tried to hit it and it went right through, he got obstinate. I told him to make a save, and he tried to argue, so I rolled his will to disbelieve for him, and he passed. In retrospect, I probably should have just let him be obstinate. Use the kobold's mist spells and lightning blasts to your advantage when running the scenario in order to misdirect them. It was one of my players' favorite sessions just because of the layering of the fight.

I have always seen animating the dead as neutral and green. Why litter and leave bones lying around while you can recycle them? It is a practicality. They are not using their corpses anymore, so why shouldn't you? As long as you don't do anything evil with the corpses then why should it be evil? If it is about the dead objecting to your using their corpses without their permission, kindly point out that they are like a child trying to hog all of the toys; even the ones not they are not playing with. Also, I can see an argument for good in that the corpses can be used for dangerous jobs without endangering innocents, thus protecting people. And you can even instruct you zombies to go around and hold doors for people and random small acts of kindness. This shall be a thing now.

You are deliberately misquoting and misapplying details. Your mocking is not appreciated. Andy has clearly stated several times that the method he is describing is specifically not for combat, in which there are ample rules. Here is something for you to review

I'll have to remember this when I am at your table Andy. I agree with this system because it rewards unpredictable and innovative tactics off the battlefield without unbalancing it. Sometimes,we all need to remember we are playing a game and rolling high on the dice is not the only way to have fun.
