NekoCon is Virginia's oldest anime convention. Happens each year in Hampton at the Hampton Convention Center spanning three days over the first weekend in November. NekoCon translates roughly to "cat", offers tons of art, a charity auction, concerts, cosplay/cosplay tournament, dances, maid cafe and a kimono/tea cermony workshop. Lots of panels and Q&A sessions, vendors and workshops.
Then there is our area. LARP, tabletop RPG's, video game tournaments. The con itself routinely draws roughly 6900 guests.
