PaizoCon Online 2021 begins Friday, May 28th and runs through Monday, May 31st. The event features live seminars and live-plays on Twitch, games scheduled via Warhorn and run on a variety of VTT platforms such as Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, Astral, and D20Pro, an official PaizoCon Online Discord server as a general hangout for con-goers, plus new product reveal blogs on paizo.com, and more! Additionally, PaizoCon Online 2021 will feature the launch of Starfinder Society Year 4 and a multi-table celebration event for the Pathfinder Adventure Card Society!

Badges for PaizoCon Online 2021 cost $25 for the weekend and are available through our Warhorn PaizoCon page! Badges go on sale 22 Feb 2021 and player game selection opens 1 April 2021.

We’ve partnered with the Organized Play Foundation for GM recruitment. GMs who run four or more games during PaizoCon receive a complimentary badge. For a full list of GM benefits as well as how to register to GM, visit the Organized Play Foundation website. GM registration opens 16 Feb 2021.

We are working on the schedules and a PaizoCon Online 2021 homepage and will update our community with more details as they become available. Meanwhile, attendees can create a paizo.com account, get an organized play number, join the Paizo Events discord server which will act as the PaizoCon convention hub, and volunteer to GM through the Organized Play Foundation. On 22 Feb, attendees can purchase their weekend badge via Warhorn.

Ticket holders for PaizoCon 2020 who rolled their tickets over to PaizoCon 2021 will have their tickets continue to roll over automatically. Attendees may request a refund by emailing customerservice@paizo.com.

For more information, email paizocononline@paizo.com.

Hazzah! So excited for this, even in the middle of my current convention stress.

Woo! Last year was so amazing! I can't wait to share more great stories in the bar, ask questions on twitch, and, of course, play games from the comfort of my own home!

Am I allowed to ask what makes a “multi-table celebration event” different from an ordinary multi-table special?

Oh my goodness... it's already been a year?! I'm looking forward to this event. Had a lot more fun than I thought I would last time.

Well, even though it isn't in person (understandably so), I am excited!

I didn't see PACS listed at all in the blog but may I assume we will have the card game at paizocon online again? =)

I didn't get involved in any tables last year, but I had so much fun watching panels and interacting with Q&As! Definitely stoked for this.

Hoping there will be less stress and everything for Paizo this time around. Fingers crossed that y'all get to enjoy your time as much as we do!

Is the ticket just to play in games or will you need that for the seminars and other streams as well? Not sure I will have time to play that weekend, but definitely want to see those.

The Discord and the streams will be accessible to the public. The badge fee is just to sign up to play games.

Waiting for new products to be announced :>

My feelings on being able to attend are mixed for those who should be attending in person, but given this does give me the opportunity to join for a second year (my fifth in total attendance), I am excited.

Can't wait. I was so disappointed to miss it last year, but the virtual version was able to provide just as much fun (albeit in different ways).

The announcement I've been waiting for! So happy it's happen again! Cannot wait to play again during a Paizo Online Con with this outstanding online community.

Could we get PaizoCon 2020 announcements unstickied, and this one stickied?

Volunteered to run six sessions with at least two being back to back Beginner Box sessions so a group of players can play both sections of it on the same day with the same GM and players.

Niiice!

Will attendee hosted games (non-org play) be happening?
Should I set up a virtual Bestiary Bash?

Is being on a central European timezone make it hard (or near impossible) to participate to these activities?

Last year, the hours were set based on a Seattle timezone (UTC -8 hours) and gaming ran from approximately 8am to midnight (if I remember correctly) so I would hope that at least some of that time period will overlap for you no matter what timezone you're in.

So I never asked for a refund for last years PaizoCon. Can I still hold off on that and hold them until you have a physical con again? Or should I request a refund?

Same. They say in the blog post that they will be rolled forward to 2022 if we have a physical one then.

I didn't ask for a refund because they said they would give us extra goodies if we rolled them forward. So I rolled mine forward.

Only disconcerting part for me is that they disappeared from my digital tickets that I had in my account so here's hoping they have a list of who rolled them forward.

Likewise did not and will not ask for refund in hope of future meatspace con,and hope they are kepping a list.

From the discord server as of today:

[DISCORD] Ivis PaizoCon Committee wrote:

What are the time slots for PaizoCon?

Events will be Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday during the following time slots (all PDT, GMT -7)
0700 - 1200
1300 - 1800
1900 - 2400

Which leads to

ok, then the timeslots for Europe then are (CEST - UTC+2):

1600 - 2100
2200 - 0300

Unfortunately this makes it in my opinion hard to participate more than once per day, if not (as in my case) impossible if you miss the first slot. Reasoning for this is in huge part the Paizo staff availability, which is required

Very disappointed this isn't in person.

Guess my time and money will just have to go to GenCon this year.

I expect all the big conventions will be virtual this year also; the health situation is just too uncertain right now, and will remain so for at least a year.

The Organized Play Committee did an amazing job last year with virtual cons -- PaizoCon, Gen Con, Pax, etc. -- including support for disabilities and lots of opportunities to socialize virtually. I felt it was as close to a real con as possible considering the circumstances.

I feel genuine sympathy for those who could have and would have attended in person and are missing out on the experience. As someone who doesn't and can't, however, I'm thrilled to be able to watch all the seminars again.

I hope that, in a future where travel and physical gatherings are safe again, Paizo will consider streaming the seminars anyway for those of us unable to attend for financial or logistical reasons.
