New Pathfinder Battles Deep Cuts Are Here!

Wednesday, December 02, 2020

This week, our partners at WizKids released the thirteenth wave of Pathfinder Battles Deep Cuts unpainted plastic miniatures. Thirteen! I can’t believe our little baby is a teenager already. As we approach the darkest, coldest (and likely most socially distanced) part of winter, I imagine a lot of folks are going to have some free time to paint minis, and we’ve got you covered!

This time around we have two Huge figures, the Huge Air Elemental Lord and Huge Fire Elemental Lord that first appeared in painted form as premium figures accompanying the Maze of Death set. While both air and fire are clear, these nevertheless offer a lot of texture for you to put your own little touches on when painting.

We’ve also got three goblins, perfect for either a warband of enemies or as player characters. We’ve got male and female goblin rogues and a male goblin fighter, each presented with both a “low-“ and “high-level” loadout, giving you either an evolving character miniature as you level up, or twice as many variant figures for a warband.

There are a few longshanks in this wave as well, don’t worry. The human rogue male and elf fighter male are fantasy staples, and are also provided with two variants each.

Make sure you check out our complete line of officially licensed Master Series paints from our other partners at Reaper Miniatures, available now in two handy 28-color Pathfinder: Colors of Golarion collections: Paint Set #1 and Paint Set #2.

Previews for the next set of Pathfinder Battles prepainted plastic miniatures from WizKids start next week, so I guess I’ll see ya’ soon! Until then, Pathfinders, stay safe.

I’m curious on how the clear ones look like...

When can we actually order these minis? I am now seeing "Will be available yesterday" on most of them.

Dark Archive

My FLGS got them in on Monday.

I will say the reaper paints are amazing, I have been using them for a Year.

Well that's just silly. Sorry about the confusion! They do say "preorder" still, but you should be able to add these minis to your cart now.

What about the Premium Painted Figures, which still shows as Preorder September 2020?

I can't speak for the Paizo store, but the Premium Painted minis have been available to the public since their release in September.

I see you're a Battles subscriber, davrion, so if you purchase them from this site it will likely be $5.60 per miniature, and that will beat most other stores, online or FLGS. That's not counting shipping and tax; I don't know what that would be as it will be different for everyone.

Does this mean the folks with orders for the Premium Painted Figures from the Paizo store have just been sitting and waiting for these since September? If that is the case, Yikes!

For anyone that doesn't mind paying a little more beyond the Battles Subscribers savings, here are a few places where you can get them right now:
Miniature Market = $7.49 (right now they have all six in stock)
CoolStuffInc. = $7.99 (all but the human rogue male are in stock, supplies limited)
GameNerdz = $6.49 (only the human rogue male--the one that's out at CoolStuffInc.--is in stock)

Yeah, I have some other stuff in my cart and figured the figures would be cheaper here with the discount. Have a CoolStuffInc order coming in today with some 5e F&T singles and held off ordering the PF Premiums there to see what the price difference was.

Anyone have any tips for attaching the minis to the plastic base?

I referred this question to the Webstore team, thanks.

A drop or two of Superglue does the job.
