It sure sounds like the Starfinder Society’s resident intelligence, Guidance, has something going on! Well, that’s probably because it’s preparing for our upcoming September releases. First up, author Rigby Bendele brings us Starfinder Society #3-07: Strike at Zone 78, which takes a group of Starfinders back to the copaxis homeworld of Tabrid Minor to investigate an area stricken by strange storms and gravitic anomalies. Meanwhile, we kick-off our high-level series of adventures with Kendra Leigh Speedling’s Starfinder Society #3-08: Fleeting Truth: The Darkside Depository, which begins an investigation into a thread of the Society’s history and that has wider implications for the entire Starfinder setting!

On a personal note, I’m excited to be attending SkålCon in the coming weeks. There, I’ll be running a few sessions of the latest installment of my mysterious “Into the Perplexity” series. As with many conventions out there, SkålCon has made the change to the online space, so I highly encourage people to check out this great charity event!

Until next time,

Huzzah!

I'm already signed up for your next Perplexity instalment and SFS 3-07 at SkålCon. Should be a lot of fun, as usual, even though I will miss seeing folk in person.

How does one send reroll beers to Canada?

I'm sure if I just ask customs how to send alcohol across the border in an attempt to manipulate untaxed international gaming they'll understand...

Should go about as well as everything else in the Perplexity. Can't wait.

SkålCon! Such a great con! Unfortunately I am GMing during all of Thursty's games. Last year I was GMing next to his table and it was crazy!

That's pretty great Hellknight art!

I too will be at SkalCon! And there is still room in my author slot of 2-18: Forbidden Tides! (As well as PF2 Quest 3: Grehunde's Gorget!)

Oh dang, that Hellknight means business. They may even mean bidness. Looking forwards to a chance to dust off the ol' high-tier PC! Thanks for bringing us an entire plot line of high-tier content this season.

And a SkålCon I can attend! Finally, my knowledge of keyboard Alt codes is paying off! Hüzzåã!

All these awesome people heading to SkalCon - So glad I get to join you! Still room in some higher-level shenanigans (PF2 1-21 Mistress of the Maze and PF2 1-25 Grim Symphony if anyone wants to join me!)

Oh dip, Zoggy gets a rematch with the Hellknight chapter that took his hand.

I recently used a Jadnura replay on Protectorate Petition, so I have the perfect character for Strike Zone 78; I'm signed up for Alex's game at SkalCon.

And I'm bound into the Perplexity at SkalCon as well. I second the request for info on reroll beers. Thursty, do you have a BeerDash service near you?

Still waiting on the Perplexity to drop so we can finally get it in Australia :p

Yar. They even have citadel-ships, one per order! We still don't know how each order changed post-Gap or what the new orders focus on, but they're there!

Unfortunately, they've only used them as boogey-men and skeletor-evil so far in society-play, pending unreleased stuff. I'm actively worried about playing my LN and LG Starfinder Hellknights in scenarios when they appear not for the sake of my in-game experience, but rather for putting a GM on the spot where the text might not have anything to back them up.

That's mostly, but not entirely, true.

Spoilers for a certain Repeatable in the first half of s1:
One of my PCs did a scouting/first contact job for the Order of the Pike, and maintained an amicable relationship thereafter, occasionally borrowing some of their gear. Let me tell you, you get some fun roleplay in the 'introduce your character!' section at the start of a scenario when you say you're wearing a borrowed suit of Hellknight armour, or wielding a borrowed Hellknight longarm!

"Oh, what, this? Yeah, she gets 3.6 x 10^23 SpaceBTUs per fuel-unit. She's a beaut. I understand this particular unit is responsible for the downfall of the Frozen Spaceticore of CX809b! Oh no, no, a humble Wayfinder such as myself could never get legal permits for a military grade flame disintegrator like this. I'm, uh, just holding it. For 'a friend.'"

So, they're not all bad, and not all opposed to working with other orgs, either. I mean, that Order of the Pyre smoky boi up above is probably just misunderstood! Look at them, all glowery-like; probably just needs a warm cuppa tea and a nice hug.
