Stay at Home, Play at Home with Roll20

Wednesday, April 1, 2020

We have joined with Roll20 to offer free products and resources to help keep your games interesting and entertaining as we all practice safe physical distancing.

Starfinder Against the Aeon Throne AP 1: The Reach of Empire

This first adventure path sends you to a fog-shrouded world in the Vast, where you will soon discover that a small military force from the Azlanti Star Empire has invaded and occupied the Pact Worlds colony there. Will you be able to liberate the settlement from its merciless oppressors?

“I was really honored to write the first volume of the Against the Aeon Throne AP. I wanted to give a real “rebels against a powerful invading force” vibe, so I focused on encounters about getting to know the beleaguered locals, making strikes against the oppressors, and finally freeing the planet from their evil influence.” - Author Ron Lundeen

Can I get these on Fantasy Grounds? If not, why not?

Paizo's licensed partners run their own promotions, and we support them in their efforts. Check in with Fantasy Grounds to see their latest promotion. I'm also trying to collect them all here on the forums and would love community support.

This is very cool, thank you!

Note, I don't think the Torment and Legacy link is correct.

EDIT: I see now, it is an optional module. Gotcha!

Thanks, we will get that fixed.

Also can't people who prefer roll20 get something nice every once a while? ;D

My group is now four sessions in on Roll20 with our regular Pathfinder 2nd Edition campaigns, and it works great!

They absolutely can, I didn't ask for your toys to be taken away.

Being available on your platform of choice doesn't prevent them being available on my platform of choice. It's not a zero sum game, they don't have to remove them from you to make them available to me.

Anyway, Aaron answered my question.

We play Fall of Plaguestone now on Roll20 and it works like a charm.
Can you please please also make the Age of Ashes adventure path modules available on Roll20?
That would save me so much time as a GM. I will pay good money for it.

Made a post requesting some aid/help. After reading BigNorseWolf’s guides to Roll20 I have a major distaste for it. Am going to try Astral, though attempting to use a tablet led to...less than useful results. I really would like an app that is uber simple that I can run games in. Simple maps, simple availability of simple macros and a chatspace to handle the actual narrative. I know people use Discord, but it seems a little complicated. Sigh. I’m sure I’ll find what I’m looking for eventually...

Ask Roll20. They are the ones that need to approach Paizo to licence it. AoA is on FantasyGrounds, so they should be able to get the rights, if it's ot already done. Roll20 also need time (and people) to process it and add the assets to their system. I wouldn't bet on getting it before a month or two if they start this right now. (they might already have started for all I know... or they decided to jump straight to Extinction Curse)

[EDIT]
... Looking at the APs they have right now on the market place... they don't have a lot of them. People need to ask for them more to show there's a demand. Because it doesn't seems like a priority for them right now.

Right, Roll20 already has access to all our content. They can't adapt our games overnight, but every business adapts to customer demand.

So who/where do we need to post to? Because this would definitely be the bomb.

Just drop them a note on the Contact Us page of their website or their social media. Express enthusiasm for their product and what you would like to see. But to be honest, they know that demand is exploding. It will take time to meet that demand. So keep it polite and positive, if you would be so kind. And make sure you use what they have given for free!
