If The Purge was a real thing, most of the violence would probably be caused by rival corporations using private armies to try and kill off the competition.

Nekkid purging? I'll pass.

If Disney really wanted to, they could make The Incredibles a canon part of the MCU.

Did I tell you that my gold-plated buttplug business was being sued by Apple? Turns out they have a patent on expensive stuff for a#+$#&%s.

Never saw Big Hero 6. And this may be an unpopular opinion, but I've only seen The Incredibles once and didn't think it was that good.

I asked my parents to read the first draft of a book I'm writing. They said that they both hate the main character and hope he dies. I have to admit, that wasn't the reaction I was hoping for. After all, it was my autobiography.

I went out with a blonde woman last night. She asked if I have any kids. I said "Yes. I have one that's just under two." She looked at me angrily and said "I may be blonde, but I do know that one is under two."

That's a tough one. It really changes depending on what mood I'm in. And what is the definition "Favorite Movie"? Do you mean the best movies I've seen? Or the ones I can watch over and over again? And do trilogies count as one movie, or three? Honestly, I don't think about things in terms of my "favorites". There are things I enjoy, and things I don't. That's all.

I don't know if they are "good" movies, but I've enjoyed most of the MCU, the LOTR trilogy, and Star Wars 4,5,6,7,8 and Rogue One (haven't seen Solo). Also movies like Blade Runner, Logan, Saving Private Ryan, and The Martian.

I like animation as well. Those are just ones that came to mind. You want some animated options? Ghost in the Shell is the only movie that comes to mind right now, mainly I watch series.

Was there just something in particular you didn't like about incredibles then? Which I guess if your saying it didn't blow you away I can get that. It was pretty nifty in theaters especially for the time. There was not a lot of other good super hero stuff out at that time comparably. I guess it depends on what your comparing it to. Its definitely passable and I'd put it above quite a few other movies.

Honestly, I don't remember much about it. So, in my case, I would say that the problem was that it was forgettable.

Ah I see. Did you watch it when it came out or sometime afterwards?

I suppose I should point out that there are plenty of other animated movies I've watched that I thought were okay, but not "good". Like LEGO Batman, or Wall-E. They're okay, just not what I would call good.

Significantly after. Like probably a year or so after it hit DVD.

Hmm maybe your one for more mature content. Most animated from Disney are for sure kid intended. The one anime you mentioned is a very adult one that I couldn't even watch as a kid cause it was too high brow to follow.

Yeah, I'm not a big Disney fan. I've seen Frozen and Brave, for instance, and thought they were okay, but nothing to get excited about.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Even as a kid I wasn't a big Disney fan. I liked Aladdin, mainly for Robin Williams' genie, and Lion King was fine. But generally I don't care for them.

What was that one movie, Despicable Me? With the minions? I thought they were the best part of the movie, but when they got their own movie I got tired of it about 1/3 of the way in.

I have seen a couple of the animated DC movies, like Teen Titans vs Justice League, and thought they were better than the live-action DC movies. But that's not a high bar, in my opinion.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

DC animated is way better then there live action. I've seen pretty well all of the DC animated and most of it its pretty good. There are a few exceptions but for the most part anyways.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I think I've seen 3 of the animated. TT vs JL, like I said earlier, the Judas Contract, and Son of Batman (or something like that). I think I might have liked the Teen Titan one better if I hadn't seen the old animated series where they did the same storyline and been comparing them as I watched it. I used to like the Teen Titans series, but the couple of episodes of Teen Titans Go I've seen have made me want to hurt people.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Teen Titans Go is pure garbage. I can't even sit through 5 minutes of it. If it makes you feel better that is pretty well the majority opinion about that show.

Oh and I mostly meant the animated movies.
