Awesome :)

Is Oblivion Oath still at 12pm? Time has not been included.

This is great news!

YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

*Kermit arm flail*

However...

The notes under the image have the dates for next week all wrong (off by one day) and it would be Pathfinder Friday not Wednesday. (Or Saturday if the 17th!)

Sorry.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So it IS the original time slots and not earlier in the day as announced last week?

We think 4 to 5 PM Pacific is best for most of our audiences. What do you think?

Grand Lodge

It does work better for me. But I do think that you need to announce this time change in the official Twitch Starfinder Wednesday Fan Club channel!

Welcome back. We are all very excited to see you!

The most famous media host in the Pact Worlds pops in. "All major announcements should be made in the Twitch Starfinder Wednesdays Fan Club! It's important to keep your fans informed, Aaron!" He adjusts his bow tie. "Especially when one of your fans is Zo!"

4-5 works great for me, because it's at the end of my workday.

I think that it's perfect, but I'm biased because this means I won't be missing Starfinder Wednesday or Pathfinder Fridays :P

Looks good for me! I'll be able to watch them live and be in the chat!

Grand Lodge

In case it's not clear, 4-5 works best for me too. It's right after my workday as well. The 1pm filming meant that I would be watching the show after it aired. Still, we're an international campaign. No time works great for everyone. There was at least one European who posted about being excited that you were airing at 1, so everyone is going to have different opinions.

Hmm

OK, so it has been established in previous threads that I don't really "get" this whole twitch and streaming thing, so please bear with me while I ask some genuine questions.

Will this Pathfinder Friday thing include announcements/clarifications/general new information? If so, will there be a text summary of this new information somewhere for those of us who do not watch streams? And if not then, um, and I don't mean this antagonisttically, then what is it for?

People like listening to the people who make the game talk about it. Why they did things a certain way, what they're hoping to do, what they're working and can actually talk about, etc

I would just add, people also like live Q&As, which don’t always have the same nuance as a summary would.

Lastly, these are posted on YouTube the following week, so if you don’t care for Twitch, you can try that platform.

"As the founder of the Twitch Starfinder Wednesday fan club," Zo says, animatedly, "I can say that this is one of the best ways to get to know the designers. You can hear their thoughts as they talk passionately about their creations. Pasini is going to talk about Alien Archive 3. Maybe we'll hear about his design processes. Maybe we'll hear about the awesome authors he's brought on to this project." Then Zo grins. "Or maybe we'll get to hear about some utterly loathsome monster that I can use to terrorize the contestants in Live Exploration Extreme!"

Sometimes there's spoilers. Sometimes there's in-depth lore. All the time there's community and behind-the-scenes looks at your favorite games. I'm so excited that the streams are back!

YES!!! I was at Gen-Con and asked Payton to bring back Pathfinder Fridays when I saw him and I'm so happy he came through! James Jacobs never finished going over the iconics and I've had questions ready and waiting for the twitch chat for months now!

Hi! As PR Manager who spends half his time doing marketing tasks I can tell you that Twitch will be a growing part of our multiple communication channels. Our Social Media Producer, Payton Smith, is leading the charge, but both the Marketing and Creative teams are involved.

Yes, they will include announcements/clarifications/general new information. You will also see Paizo People just having fun with all of you playing the games we love because people can participate on Twitch live. It is our interactive, international TV station. (Thanks internet!)

The videos can be watched on Twitch immediately after they end as Video On Demand (VOD). Then Payton will post them to YouTube because they disappear from Twitch after a time. (We used to cut out the 30 minute Q&A, but intend to include it all going forward.) We intend to post those videos on paizo.com regularly, and share them via email and social media.

Will they be transcribed? No, we don't think our resources currently allow that. It seems someone from the community often hits the highlights for us before we can even get to it. Will highlights of important announcements/clarifications/general new information be shared in written summary form via blogs? Yes. If we are doing our jobs correctly the messages will be repeated and shared with you in the media format you choose to consume. Ultimately, that good old marketing funnel should lead right back to paizo.com. If we miss something, let us know!

Also, YouTube has auto subtitle/closed caption and transcript functionality.

*sadface* Oblivion Oath canceled today.

Knowing that Europe is a less important market, it would still be nice if some of the shows could be hosted at times accesible to European players, we'd like to contribute as well.

13.00 pacific means 21.00 in the UK/22.00CET/ 23.00 in Russia.
16.00 pacific means midnight in the UK, and later for the rest of us.

In the end I realise that chances are slim, but who knows, maybe one episode every month or every two months could be aired at 13.00 Pacific to include your European customer base?

Oblivion Oath airs at 13.00 Pacific on Thursdays.

Is that a change? I thought OO was at 1200 (noon) pacific time. I’ve been watching nearly ever episode and they have been at 2pm(cst) every week.
