that's... it? I mean, why doesn't the Skitter Shot module allow players to play their skittermander characters like they could in the Skitter Shot module? There were probably less than 6 total legal skittermander characters campaign-wide last year that could play, and this year there were a lot more (myself included) who were excited about being able to potentially play this with their SFS legal skittermander characters that took no small effort to earn.
Was the lack of itemized gear at the bottom of the chronicle sheet an oversight on this one?
When can we expect the printable Pregen pdfs to drop on these?

Since "We Be Heroes" does not need to be reported, does that mean it does not count towards Conventation reporting/support?
What should Organizers do if we are planning on running a slot or two of this pre-2E launch if we were counting it towards Convention support?

Oh no! Aba is the right level to play this adventure. Was this just an oversight or an intentional exclusion? She was looking forward to joining in an all skittermander adventure.
Entering problem solving mode: Maybe we can run a not-for-SFS credit run of this adventure for everyone's skittermanders locally? There are so many people I know who would want to play this with their own skittermanders. I think there are people who will happily forgo the chronicle just to be able to play in an all skittermander group of Nufriends. We're here to help!
Otherwise, the chronicle looks great.

That’s a strange oversight that we thought had copied over from the Skitter Shot sanctioning document on which this one was modeled.
Official: If a player has a boon allowing her to create a skittermander PC, she may also choose to play that character so long as the PC is 3rd- or 4th-level.
THANK YOU JOHN! I was disgruntled, but now I am gruntled. Many soft furry helpful annoyances will cheer your name and erect monuments in your image.

While I understand the purpose of Free RPG Day and the later timing on getting a pdf is to get people into their local gaming stores, has anyone thought about just providing PDFs of the maps in advance to support people running on Free RPG Day?
I think this has been asked every year as far back as the first We Be Goblins, and there's some legal reason or somesuch about digital products tied to free rpg day. I've made it a habit to just take them to a local print shop for high res scans once I have the booklet then print them to scale. Not always the best quality and if the maps have a lot of overlay graphics and writing that becomes a problem (like when a big "S" for secret door pops up over a wall).
Personally I'd love it if we could get the maps and chronicles and pregens all in one package a week before the event, but timing and overlap with Origins makes that a challenge every year, possibly more so now with Origins being the season refresh for Starfinder.

Looking at the chronicle sheet for We Be Heroes?, which is for second edition, and seen that there is no Fame box to fill in (even with the - for the reward) and the tier of the adventure is not on the chronicle (or the gold reward table for the tiers)
Though this could be on purpose, as it was the same way on the example in the blog, the playable tiers (including mod tiers as this is) should be somewhere on the chronicle.

From the We Be Heroes Product comment section..
I have very quickly thrown together a crib sheet for Goblin players so that we can run this on Saturday. Please beware, it is unofficial and it may include errors. Share this if you feel it may help. Otherwise all players will need their own copy of the Playtest Rules and the six extensive revisions plus recent updates. It's linked from our Pathfinder UK website, in the second paragraph.

I hope Paizo will now add downloads for the character sheets, too. Otherwise players will need to rip pages from the modules and share one side of the page per player.

The adventure doesn't really care about tiers. It is played with pregens only, and doesn't reward XP/Gold/Fame. I guess if it's not a characters 1st chronicle, it might be a little annoying to go back two chronicles to check your fame, but eh, it doesn't seem to me like that big a deal.

Can someone in possession of both products tell us if the adventures use existing Paizo maps, and if yes, which ones, or if they use unique maps (perhaps provide suggestions)? Please remember SPOILER tag.
I'm going to be arriving at a game store 1 hour away, handed the scenario, and I am expected to run these adventures on the fly (with about 1 hr prep.) I'd like to bring what I can already prepped.

I am looking at this from the perspective of this being the permanent format of the Chronicle. It will be a headache to write in the Fame and Tier ranges in the notes on every chronicle for the GM if this is the current set chronicle that is decided on. The faction confusion on the top of the page also is condensed the already limited space for the character and player info on the top.
The overall lack of gold reward, while not relevant here, seems to be a big missing component, though it was missing on the blog also.

We Be Heroes was a fun adventure. It's sad to think it'll probably fall by the wayside when we move out of the playtest. Wonder if we'll see a 2E version? Probably wouldn't be too hard to convert, the pregens would need some reworking & some DC's probably need to change but most other stuff would survive playtest to 2E.
