Free Starfinder Character Sheets Download!

Friday, August 11, 2017

Maybe this comes as no surprise, seeing as we already offer a free PDF download of the Pathfinder character sheets, but you can now download the Starfinder character sheet and Starship sheet for free as well!

While Starfinder doesn't officially hit shelves until the 17th, we wanted to make sure to get these sheets up early, while those of you headed off to Gen Con still have time to print some out and stash them in your carry-on. (Though of course you can also play at the show by grabbing a pregen from Starfinder Society in the Sagamore Ballroom, or picking up a copy of the Starfinder Player Character Folio.) For everyone else, we can't wait to get back from the show, hop on the forums, and hear what you think of the game!

When I click the link I get directed to Lumin, where it says I need permission from you (or whoever the owner might be) any chance I can get that, or you can make the sheet public somehow?

I have no idea what Lumin is or why it is even involved. Your the first person to report any issues accessing the files. They are on a public Google drive with share rights to anyone with the link so there should be no redirection of any kind.

Maybe it is your browser? I don't know what to tell you. There are no permissions required to access them. They have been downloaded a ton from the Facebook group I initially posted them to and I have had no similar reports to yours.

Edit: I just did a google search and apparently Lumin is a PDF viewer and editor. That message must be coming from the software on your system if you have the Lumin software on it.

Gilfalas - the fillable PDF sheet is awesome! My son and I are messing around, making our first Starfinder characters, and have found one glitch with the sheet: it is failing to grab the Dex mod for EAC and KAC and put it in the appropriate boxes. And when we try to type the mod directly into the Dex mod box for EAC, it will let us do so, and calculate the result, but then the number we typed in vanishes (though the resulting AC is still correct). And when we then try to type the mod in for KAC, it does the same thing as for EAC, but it sets EAC back to 10, as if there's no Dex mod entered.

I don't think this is just my system, as we're doing it on two different PC's, using Acrobat Reader DC.

Thought you'd want to know. Thanks for creating the fillable sheet!

Gilfilas,
The Starship sheet has an error. For "Frame" field drop down menu, it doesn't work. When you click on it, it just puts a cursor in the field. When you type in the frame name, you can't see it because title of "Frame" covers your entry.

There needs to be a value in the max Dex box over the armor section before it will compute Dex allowed. I will look at the sheet and see if I can re configure the math.

I will take a look and see what I can do.

Dexterity issues on the sheet should now be fixed and have been uploaded to the Google Drive. You can use the same link as last time to get the new file.

Zen Ghost, I have been unable to recreate the error your experiencing with the Starship sheet. Could you send me a private message (click on my blue name and look for the 'Private Message' tab) with the OS and software your using to open the file with?

Where does it pull BAB from on the character sheet? I can't figure out how to adjust that.

It's to the right of the Attack Bonuses section.

In other news, when I download the file and open it up again it opens as a tab in my browser, which I can then fill out and print but can't save. Any ideas on how to fix that? Great sheet by the way!

Thank you so much, Gilfalas. And to the Starfinder/Paizo folks, these are some great looking sheets!

Gilfalas, I have tried the auto fillable sheets you posted, however it does not calculate anything at all.

Using Foxit Reader, Version: 8.3.1.21155.

That box is non-editable for me.

For your issue, open it in Adobe Reader. It does the math, can save it, only issue is the BAB not being editable.

The BAB box has been fixed and the corrected sheet uploaded. I have implemented a version notation under the Starfinder Logo so folks know what sheet they are using. The most current as of this post is V1.01.

Foxit has been noted by otheres as an app that does not like the form. I suggest using Adobe Reader. It is free and it works 100% with the sheet on Windows systems.

By the way, while building a Mechanic I noted that the Dexterity bonus to EAC and KAC remained at -5 even though my bonus should've been +3. I think it may not be properly referencing the Dexterity modifier. I was able to manually alter the bonus though.

Crud. I really hate Adobe Reader, and do not have it installed, but I guess that I will put it back on my laptop for this.

Thanks for the information.

Gilfalas, thanks for the form-fillable sheets!

I've noticed another bug in the V1.01 Character Sheet, however: under Initiative, the Miscellaneous Modifier is not being added to the total (for example, the +4 bonus from Improved Initiative).

Using Adobe Reader DC version 2017.012.20095

OK the fixed sheet has been uploaded. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. Current is V1.03.

What sheet version are you using? All the Dex issues should be fixed on the newest version V1.03.

Please refer to this thread for all further discussion of my sheets. I realize I have unintentionally coopted Paizo's announce thread.

If a mod wishes to remove references to these custom sheets that would be fine with me.

I'm late to the party, but thank you Gilfalas.

Why not make the character sheets editable? As-is, I'm just downloading the more useful, editable version from Hephaistos. Bummer.
