Question: Will the Starfinder Core Rulebook introduce new minor gods, in addition to the new core 20 and previously known gods? I can't help but hope somewhere out there in the cosmos is an ascended god of all nerds, granting their favor to champion speedrunners and people who know what "nerfherder" means, and showing their displeasure through sudden rick rolled pranks and failed, high stakes eBay bids. :p
The Starfinder Core Rulebook does mention a few minor gods (and philosophies) but all of the new deities presented are part of the core 20. As previously stated, however, this does not mean other gods (both old and new) don't exist, but there's only limited space in one Core Rulebook. Pathfinder has had lots of time and lots of books to introduce new gods. Starfinder's not there yet. :)

Do the gods still have favored weapons and fighting styles? Can i have a religious exception to take my flamer thrower onto the bus?
Flavor-wise, yes, in some cases (what is Iomedae without her longsword?), but there are no mechanical effects associated with them.
As for flamethrowers on the bus, ask your bus driver or the local authorities.

About as dangerous as she was before you somehow disarmed her? But yes, i get what you mean and am glad that they are still there in some fashion. It will make my Grammaton Cleric concept all the cooler :)

It turns out that if you get the flamethrower onto the bus in the first place they are much less likely to make an issue out of it. go figure.
