Let Slip the Orcs of War!

Wednesday, Feburary 11, 2015

It seems like forever ago we sent Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Belkzen, Hold of the Orc Hordes off to the printer. So long ago did we ship it, in fact, that I was caught woefully unaware when those little digital orcs we sent across the sea to be printed returned, all grown up and hungry for my blood. I managed to divert their attack to the warehouse, whose border abuts my office, avoiding the worst of the onslaught. I understand they've successfully divided the horde into small, easy-to-defeat single members and sent them off to our noble subscriber allies. To aid you in your orc-slaying efforts, I present a glimpse at some of the horrors that await you. Study them well, and always check your mail with sword drawn until the Belkzen threat has been quelled.

I like that picture of Mother Orc and the 7-8 kids she has there. If that is common in Orc family life, maybe now we know why the menfolk spend so much time fighting with the neighbors?

Do we get to burn an orc orphanage? ;)

Yay, Brynn Metheney!

@ Eric - That's Dretha, Orc Goddess of fertility, birth, and death.

Though I suppose it's fitting that the orc equivalent to a love goddess is both armed and madder than Hell.

@ Gorbacz - only if we beat the orcs to it?

I love the dwarven armor on Grask. I sense story there.

Don't they usually burn their own?

Of all the orphanages in the Inner Sea and orc orphanage probably would attack you.

While the image of Grask Uldreth is absurdly awesome, it looks A LOT like Orgrim Doomhammer/Thrall from Warcraft!

Please make a mini of Grask!!

Sweet. I love orcs. But what I'd love more is a book about Iobaria...

an orc orphanage is as likely to attack you as a goblin orphanage is to try and eat you...

Thanks. I guess that explains the wolf pups too, given what her sacred animal is.

Whoa, that Juggerloathe looks fearsome!

It seems to be emitting negative energy from both sets of it's eyes.

Some type of unholy magical beast servant of the orcs and their gods?

Perhaps it's existence is in partial thanks to the Whispering Tyrant?

B.O.U.S's I don't think they exist.

The Orc goddess of fertility wears armor made of babies? That explains so much.

Those are some angry looking babies

:) Poor thing has a serious eating problem too. It just can't keep anything down...

Gotta love that bottom-most baby's "come at me, bro" pose. That's adorable. :D

Ugh, I HATE the fact that the PDF release date is so far off. Dammit this isn't fair!
