Greetings from the playtest team! First off, we want to thank you for all of the playtest feedback and thoughts you have provided thus far on the Occult Adventures Playtest. There have been over 6,000 posts so far and that number keeps growing. As we comb through all of your feedback, we want to announce a new way to give us your thoughts, the Occult Adventures Playtest survey.

There are 8 surveys in total, most with 10 simple questions. There is one survey for each of the six classes in the playtest, plus one survey looking at magic and spells, and a final survey looking at the playtest as a whole.

You can fill out these surveys, and even go back and change you answers, anytime between now and the close of the playtest, which is scheduled for Tuesday, November 25th at 2:00 PM Pacific time! Filling out these surveys will give us some valuable insight on the classes in a way that is easy for us to quantify. Please fill out your survey today!

As an aside, we realize these took a little longer to pull together than initially promised. As a reward for your patience, why not take a look at the first sketch for one of the new classes set to appear in Occult Adventures. Behold the Occultist!

The Occultist... Truly a class for Wayne Reynolds artistic sensibilities.

The Occultist Iconic looks Awesome! And he isn't super muscle which is pretty cool.

Really wishing there was a "get rid of burn, its stupid" option for the kineticist survey. Oh well :)

Before I even clicked the link, I said to myself "He is probably holding and/or looking at a skull..."

You can put it in the general survey if you wish.

"Loads of accessories as a CLASS FEATURE? Sign me UP!"

Surely it's a coincidence that the iconic occultist bears a rune-carved skull. : D

I hope we get to see more of these sketches over the course of the playtest! Once you reveal one, you cannot resist revealing all of them, }:)

He might instead be Morte.

I'd like to see what his encumbrance is. I think he looks kind of cluttered.

"Stride?"

This image greatly solidifies the occultist as my favorite class. I love magical gew-gaws, and I will HAVE to play this thing once it comes out. Think I'll want to put the effort to make a guide as well. Though that's a LONG ways away.

Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio, a fellow of infinite
jest, of most excellent fancy. He hath bore me on his back a
thousand times, and now how abhorr'd in my imagination it is!
My gorge rises at it.

"All right then, roll! Roll through the Gates of Hell!"

A double cost, slotless Muleback Cords will fix that right up.

He may also be our first heavier-set iconic, by the looks of it.

(Judging by his neck and thighs, not just his possible belly.)

Hell put on a set of glasses and shave him and you have a slightly larger version of what I look like. I might even make him my account portrait when it becomes available.

The dependency on items is actually one of the only 2 things I don't like about this class, the other being their too limited spell list.
