As far as I, Google, and Wikipedia know, Weresharks actually date all the way back to 1983 in the 1e AD&D Monster Manual II, Werecrocodiles were first printed in a 2e Forgotten Realms supplement in 1990, and Werebats were first in the OD&D Master Rules set in 1985. Like I said earlier, they're not new, by any stretch of the imagination, but B4 is their first appearance in hardback when updated to PfRPG rules.

Oh, I don't doubt that at all. Ive seen them referenced before. I was saying that I wish I had known they existed in PFRPG before I built them from the ground up :P

So...

The book's out.

I won't get my copy until Christmas (as a present from my wife).

....

... so, when are these awesome critters going up on the PRD?

Shadow Lodge

Oh man I just noticed, Catrina is in there as a psychopomp. As in La Calavera Catrina. I'm pretty stoked for this, as I was actually statting up the Calaca for my Caribbean game as a psychopomp. Now I'm really psyched!

Glad I could be of service. ;)
