What a Twist!

Tuesday, April 27, 2010

Things continue to be very hectic around here as we ride the wave of the convention season tsunami. So much so that a few stealthy projects have slipped through the cracks here on the blog. For example, Plot Twist Cards. So here's a brief gallery of just a few of the deck's dozens of awesome illustrations, all from the delightfully demented brush of illustrator Matt Dixon. Enjoy!

Anyone notice the name of the little one-eyed statue?!?

Dixon is quickly becoming one of my favorite artists, I hope he can do the covers for an AP someday.

Wait. Empty?

Arrrgh! The smell! The sweet, delicious smell of steamed onions!

But with no slimy semi-liquid burgers or soggy buns, that smell is torture.

Torture, I say! TORRRRRTUUUUUUURRRRREEEE!

Perhaps it could also mean a round of pizza for the characters.

The more I look at the rocking horse, the more it makes me sad.

EDIT: BTW, was this a M. Night Shyamalan/Robot Chicken joke title?
