Sorry, MY bad. I mixed this game with another. You did!
...The clock is still ticking.
By reading the conflicting code between the cube and the mainframe and analyzing the rising power meters, you determine that Aldroxis’s effort to activate the Drift engine is causing the destructive feedback loop of planar energies, which risks obliterating the King Xeros in short order. Disengaging all Azlanti modifications would reset the system and avert the disaster, but the ship would then default back to its base programming: sailing back into the Ethereal Plane. Given the lack of time and resources, this is the only reasonable option for leaving the King Xeros intact.

”Look here, my friends. Computers: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
Gletch nods in agreement. "I concur with my colleague. Let's implement this plan, then."

Looking around, you've got choices, but you'll need to be careful in your choices, because there's likely only about 7-8 minutes left. It's not a functioning of finding things, it's a function of saving them to your device fast enough... You can likely buy more time with a Computers or Mysticism check.
Gletch

Gletch nods. "I will see what I can do to buy us a little time ..."
Computers: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (20) + 15 = 35

Gletch buys the party a full 20 minutes!
You each have time for TWO:
You download lost Golarion’s ancient Azlanti code from the cube, which would be invaluable to Starfinder data analysts, each time you grab new mystical code.
Heading to the Helmsman's Cabin
You recognize that images from within the Aristia system are quite rare among non-Azlanti. Flipping through the other images contained in the holographic photo albums for 10 minutes reveals a handful of pictures with backgrounds of major Imperial landmarks, which Pact Worlds technicians can use to aid their surveillance of the Star Empire.
Going through crates in the main hold:
A stasis hold!
You can carefully dislodge a cocoon and return it to the Society for further analysis. Starfinder mystics can use the cocoon as a template for conjuring creatures similar to the contained specimen.

Gletch looks around, raising one of his bushy eyebrows. "Something ... I've been here before ... or dreamed it, in a vision ..." He focuses first on the stasis hold.
Using my 17 Paradox on Mysticism check, which is the class skill from my Focal Paradox, so I'll get a new paradox.
Mysticism: 17 + 10 = 27
In the stasis hold, he finds a cocoon and quickly pries it loose. "Yes, hello my friend. We'll make sure you're safe."
Replacement paradox: 1d20 ⇒ 3
I have +15 on both Computers & Culture, so I'll hold off on my second roll to see if someone else can get the Culture check.

Aldor uses two time slots to get as much information as possible.
Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25
Computers: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
"Look at this! I was able to download lost Golarion’s ancient Azlanti code from the cube. This will be be invaluable to Starfinder data analysts!"
Gold-Flecked Black
|
Culture: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (13) + 14 = 27.
Being a escapee *from* the Star Empire, Gold-Flecked Black readily recognises the star-charts of interest, and quickly makes copies!
Athletics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19.
Well, if I manage to get 2 assists, and I use my Cube, that will get us over the line... I just realised no-one in the party has Athletics!
Gletch
|
I could use my last 2nd level spell slot to summon creature for a robot with Athletics +5 for one minute, if the GM would permit.
Gletch
|
Since Gold already made the Culture check, I'd suggest doing an untrained Athletic aid roll ... but neither of Rattus' rolls would have succeeded at that either... so I don't think there's any way for us to get Gold's Athletics check up to 24... I'd need a 19 for the summoned robot to make it on their own, so, I'll just go with another repeatable Computers check.
Computers: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (16) + 15 = 31

The party works quickly to get what they can. The clock is ticking though...
Gletch
|
I believe everyone has done their two rolls, haven't they? Are we waiting on something else?

I am, apparently, bad at math.
With everythign you can, you get clear of the ship. Shortly after you depart the King Xeros, it sheds several more of its external Azlanti modifications and then floats slowly forward, fading into nothingness as it passes into the Ethereal Plane....
Venture-Captain Naiaj returns to your comms with word that you should have shaken the last of the vanguard, and she orders the entire Starfinder operation to enter the Drift and return home before the Azlanti can regroup. Back at home she expresses disappointment that her team was unable to secure the King Xeros for the Society to study, but she’s vocally grateful that YOU kept the Azlanti from claiming the ether ship either. She’s also heartened by the treasures you recovered from the King Xeros.
Congratulations! You have succeeded in your mission. Not only did you complete your primary mission of preventing the destruction of the King Xeros (though who knows where it is now), but you also saved your fellow agents with your quick thinking and quicker reflexes in space combat! You can collect your chronicles HERE. I'll leave the thread open for a few days or until everyone confirms their chronicle. Note, that RPG Chronicles does NOT cross out the Iztheptar Research (Personal Boon). You earned the other, so you should cross this one out.
