Aliyah Endayo
Aliya advances on the criminal leader, her movements fluid and chaotic, a beautiful tumbling pass that brings her alongside the man as she connects her heel with his jaw.

"It's not your boat!" he calls "Why die for it?"

Heh--I'm wondering if Tedros forgot that Orange had dropped his weapon and was cowering after Jet's last attack (See THIS POST above). I know I'd forgotten myself! Maybe he can retcon a -4 for a nonlethal attack...unless he intended to strike the guy down anyways.
Tedros
you’re right, I forgot after so long. Instead.
Tedros moves up the other staircase and circles around behind the pirate.
[double move]
Nassor, night watchman
Nassor, seeing Vark's blade cut deeply into Aliyah, hustles forward and, sliding between the wounded warrior and the gunwale, quickly murmurs a prayer to whatever gods might be listening today.
Move up behind Aliyah, cast Cure Light Wounds.

Wounded, and with a clear understanding of just how dangerous her opponent is, Aliyah makes a desperate attempt to end the fight, dropping into a crouch and folding her legs, to spring up, launching her body onto one arm as her full momentum rises in a deadly arc, swinging through it's apex to drop like a hammer across the side of the bastard's neck.
Unarmed strike: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26

Tedros
Tedros' eyes light up as he slowly watches smoke rise over the deck of the ship, challenging the masts and crow's nest.
Is... the ship burning? We've got to put that out if we want any hope of finding an object so small as a ring!
He rushes towards the stairs down...
I'm guessing a new part of the map is in order, and perhaps some fire detail.
Nassor, night watchman
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Nassor follows quickly, looking about the deck for buckets or any other firefighting gear.
I've no idea if they have such stuff … but I would.
roll if needed: Prof-Sailor: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Nathrae the Ruby-Chosen
Nathrae steps up to Aliyah and roughly puts a hand on her shoulder, eerie eldritch energy in the palm of her hand.
There's a profound chill for a moment before her wounds start stitching themselves together.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
Lily Whitehill
Lily offer a potion of CLW to Jetsam seeing she's wounded still.
Then she searches and binds the unconscious man.
Aliyah Endayo
Aliyah finds herself more than a little shocked at the crackling energy and bone-deep chill of the drow woman's touch, but grateful as her wounds completely heal. "I...thank you." she says with a grateful nod.

More smokw astarts to waft up and raucous cries from birds and monkeys erupts. the sound of something wooden being smashed also splits the air with a strange chittery noise.
I"ll get better with maps i hope *lawls* Anywho i cant find a clear enough second deck map so just using the first one. its basically an open hold under the deck, the black lined area are stairs heading down to the hold, added some crates and animal cages. the large arachnid looking monster is what the two creatures are down there. colored orange and yellow. The orange once is loose... the yellow one is trying to break out of his wooden cage. there are three fires starting to grow.
They can be put out with any sort of water like create water. snuffed sout with a cloak or siazable cloth, using the snuff out method requires a full round action that incites Attacks of Opprotunity. or a bucket of sand (there are eight buckets of sand on the main deck dc 15 to spot them.
Initiative order - Party first then the Rhagodessa
Rhagodessa - A spider-like creature the size of a pony. The creature’s body is dark brown with yellow stripes, its furred legs long and spindly. The front pair of its ten legs rear up threateningly, their tips flattening into terrible discs studded with dozens of hooked suckers. The monster’s head is horrifically oversized, dominated by immense mandibles that chatter and clack with obvious hunger.
Tedros
Tedros looks around too.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
He's concerned that even if he finds one it won't be easy to constantly drop it off the side of the ship and pull it up to fill it.
"Jetsam"
"Thanks," Jet tells Lily, taking and downing the potion when she gets a glimpse of the rampaging rhagodessa. "I'll buy you a replacement when Lady Vanderboren pays us for this fiasco!" The young swordswoman then scoots forward to engage the monster.

Nathrae the Ruby-Chosen
1 person marked this as a favorite.
Nathrae looks over at the nearest fire on deck, sneers at it, and moves over to it.
With an imperious roll of her ruby-red eyes, she speaks a single word in an arcane language and calls up a burst of water to extinguish the first blaze.
Create Water on the nearest fire.
Nassor, night watchman
… and snatches a bucket and hurries to the starboard side fire to extinguish it.
Moves as close to the fire as he can get (if seizing bucket was a standard action, he's positioned on map. If it's less than that or can be combined with move, then he'll be closer and ready to snuff it out next round)
Tedros
Tedros holds out his bucket for Nathrae to fill with her magic.
Very handy! he smiles at her.
Lily Whitehill
Lily grabs a bucket of sand and moves up to extinguish one of the fires. Keeping an eye for anything coming up from the hold.
"Something big is getting out. Best be ready!" She calls out.
Tedros
If we aren't in rounds, Tedros will rinse-repeat on getting/applying water.
Aliyah Endayo
As those more suited to it take care of the fire, Alihay rushes toward the spider monster.

The bucket emptied, Nassor hopes that's enough to smother the fire and turns towards the melee behind him. Gesturing toward the frenzied beast, he seems to toss more grains of sand in its direction — but the grains sparkle like stardust, settling over its carapace and bathing it in light.

Due to Dancing scarves and the action taken two rounds ago, that attack misses. {Martial Flexibility (Gain Dodge for 1 min), Move action: Advance toward monster. (Current AC 17)}
Managing to dodge the creature's bite, Aliya is nonetheless grateful for Nathrae's additional healing, despite the intense chill. As Jetsam creates a distraction, she presses the attack, jumping into the air to deliver another kick to the beast.
