Ling is also a decent swimmer, when not in plated armor. Which concerns him after that remark about possible underwater attackers. Nevertheless...
"It seems like the logical next step. If we need that missing item, we should at least try to retrieve it. I would like to be armored in something during the attempt. I'll feel naked without my breastplate armor, but if I could get ahold of a serviceable suit of wooden armor that would be nice."

Poppo says:"It woundn't make sense for Olandil to make his move if he hasn't fish whatever crap he found on the bottom of the sea out, right? So if I were you I won't worry about diving."
"Or he learned it is either out of his reach or wasn't what he was hoping to find. Given our lack of aquatic abilities I don't think the idea of swimming to the bottom of the harbor is a wise one. Plus how are we going to evade all the watchful eyes if we were to actually find something of value? That type of discovery is likely to attract attention - attention we probably don't want."
| GM_Colin |
"Well, maybe the watchful eyes already know that Jaks or Jacks or Jax, whoever Olandil is right now, got something out of the water. It seems to me that he is trying to diverge the unwanted attention to his many personas. By the way, have you find out anything about the 'Jacks Falger' yet? " Poppo replis to Kageryu.

"I agree, we should pay this 'tubmarket' a visit. And if Olandil already got it - whatever it is - out of the water I do not see a reason to dive down there."

"No we have not learned anything about Jacks Falger yet but it seemed a bit redundant since we already know when and where Olandil will be in two days time. If you think it's worth gathering more information we can certainly do so."

Ling shrugs, not at all disappointed that he won't be going for a swim. He's had enough of fish for a while.
"Might as well. We have the time."

The team get up in Tuesday morning and visit the Tubmarket in Docktown. merchants haphazardly cobbled together shops and stalls into a multistory floating market. As you already know, merchants here prefer to sell their wares for trade goods rather than coin; and there're many everyday items you would expect to be sold on the market missing, likely due to good shortages.
Unfortunately, no one there seems to know about Jacks Falger, but one of the guys there does mentions that he remember seeing a “begoggled ghost” diving into the water on Sunday night and surfacing hours later with a white staff. Misgund can confirm that this man is not lying.
What's next? Back to the information broker lady on Gold Street? Or visit the Throne Defiant to talk to the loyalist? Challenge the strix in the Abandoned tower?

No to the Throne Defiant and I'd prefer to avoid the strix if possible.

[dice=Gather-check]d20+6
The Tenements is just as Poppo described——total chaos. It's the slum of the Pazzack, where the poorest live under the debris of burnt-down buildings. The people there are too busy fighting over each other for minimum amount of food to care about what's going on in Pazzack. Most of them avoid eye contact with you as you survey.
The team argues about whether they should talks to the Loyalist or not. Alchemical supplies can be acquired by visiting the Alchgarden; Vim's Smithy covers the need of weapon and arms.
No additional information acquired by visiting those locations. Unless you guys want to split the party, I would assumed the team does not go to the Throne Defiant. Let me know if there's anything else you would like to do on Tuesday. I will move us forward to Golarion'sWedsneday in Earth's Saturday.

Tuesday passed uneventfully, and the team wake up to Wednesday. You guys go to the Manukirt Trading Co. Warehouse for the advertised performannce of Jaks Arunai.
The team make themselves some makeshift stools using cardboard boxes and wait for the poet to shows up. After a while, 'Jaks Arunai' shows up in front of the warehouse on time and begins reading poetry so incomprehensible that it is basically gibberish; the same sort of gibberish that Madge uses to pass secret messages. Once he has the crowd’s attention——signaled by them booing and pelting him with clods of dirt and rotting vegetables——he raises a white ash rod tipped with an onyx gem.
The sunlight splits on the gem and spreads a pale prism across the crowd. With a supernaturally booming voice, Olandil declares, “Today, I shed light upon one of Pezzack’s greatest secrets. Jacks, the man you trust as a member of your very own faction, is the Printsmith! And Jacks has been hiding his identity from you all. All your secrets are laid bare to Pezzack’s greatest journalist, soon for the entire city to see! Panic! Panic and regroup! Pay no attention to outside affairs!”
He gestures emphatically as he speaks, but his gestures do not match his words; instead, they are a series of Pathfinder hand signs. “Follow me into the warehouse. Secret passage to underground, back left corner, behind fish barrels.”
He continues to sign as he steps off the stage, but the meaning of the signs becomes more difficult to discern.
Assuming everyone would like to follow him, everyone, please roll Sense Motives

Migsund and other team members managed to figure out several hidden messages from Olandil's weird gestures:
"Pit trap presents in the Gut before the door, watch out."
"Hostile Giant Scorpion waits behind the door deep into the Gut."
"Hostile creature presents in the Gut before the pit trap, be careful."
The Pathfinders have no trouble make your way through the hysterical crowds, and follow Olandil into the Guts. The dank tunnels reek of musty seawater that oozes from the stone ceiling and leaves the walls coated with a wet sheen. A few fresh torches suggest the derelict tunnel is still in use. Olandil is apparently way ahead of you, and he's no where to be found when you entered the Guts. You do recall Olandil's secret message about rendezvous at the Guts' exit’s location at Whaler’s Point, which is probably where he's heading now.
New map is up in position 1. Time to navigate the sewers system!
Giant Scorpion is a Neutral large vermin. The sixteen-foot-long scorpion scrabbles forward, ferocious claws raised in challenge, stingered tail arched over its back. You know that its sting is poisonous, and it's big claws can grab and constrict its prey.

"A haiku is a poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five syllables, traditionally evoking images of the natural world. It's a very popular form of poetry in Tian Xia."

I ... do not know how far I travelled but I suspect it was a few million miles in one step. One moment I was in a forest then I stumbled into a hedge maze. I have no idea how that happened. But ... we do not have haikus where I came from.

Migsund puffs on his pipe as he follows the group, bringing all his calculations of personalities and abilities together before calling a brief halt to discuss. "Zo, ve pursue our illustrious ally, who has warned us of the threats ahead. Ve must be diligent, und zo I shall bolster your minds. Please do not feel threatened, my grasp on your minds shall be zo minute as you will not even notice." Migsund pulls out a small shiny coin on a string and spins it softly as he begins enchanting his allies to bolster their spirits.
Migsund will then cast heroism on Tempestas & Ling Chang, recall both (4 arcane pool points), and cast it again on Kageryu and finally, after hesitating over Tuke and shaking his head, himself.
"Ve do not know what threat lies first - a 'hostile creature'. Ve do know some kind of scorpion lies past the door. Perhaps it shall be the size of a dog? Regardless, I shall be glad to lead as we approach it. My people are well known for our handling of venomous creatures. Ling zeems our best choice before then."

Migsund sadly does not actually have the Hardy trait vs poison, but he'll still tank it out of Dwarven pride. Happy to go 2nd before the door, or further back if others want to be closer to the front.
"You may also hear some strange noises at times - pay them no mind, mere distractions for what ve must face." Casting ghost sound, linking the concentration to everyone under heroism via The Show Must Go On. Sending the sounds of sopping wet footsteps up and down all the corridors as we proceed to mask our movements.
Migsund retrieves his waraxe, glances at everyone, "Zo, shall ve.. how they say.. 'Roll out?'"

Ling has convinced himself that there are more. After all the method of communication was not exactly precise.
"How interesting, Master Takeda, that you would know such things. I am no poet, but every child learns a simple haiku or two in my country, and I have written a couple, though so long again I can scarcely remember them."
"I guess I should still lead the way, unless you think it would help if you were in front."
Ling starts heading north while tapping the floor in front of him with a scimitar. Though he's not sure how or if it will help, that is what they do in stories.
