Does the reported rep really matter ? I'm not sure all the various bonus rep for special missions gets accurately tracked by the site anyway.

Yes, there is a 1.25x multiplier for the convention.
The reported Reputation does matter - the faction boons are gated by a character's Reputation on the site. It's not a huge deal but there are enough issues that I've asked for a correction.

Nope. There's nothing even to be done from my end, other than request the changes.
One of the drawbacks with this relay-style reporting system is that the information gets passed from you to me to the organizers to a reporter into the system, and at every step of the way, there can be an error which doesn't show up until the end.
