What's the end-result of the feathers? Who is Quiella actually casting this scroll on?
GM supervillan
What's the end-result of the feathers? Who is Quiella actually casting this scroll on?
The feathers are being used to cast Restoration as a standard action; Quiella is casting Lesser Restoration on Mykel using Mykel's scroll.
Quiella activates Mykel's scroll - but it's going to take some time to complete the prayers.
Pai K activates her devil-wand. You posted this action previously but can't complete it till round 11 and it's a 1 round cast, so no time for the CLW potion yet.
Teric adds to his defences.
A creature of wind and mist appears in the corridor near the doorway. Arcane manifestations flicker and flash - and then everything goes dark!

If you identified the wind-creature open this spoiler:
3d3 ⇒ (2, 1, 1) = 4
In the darkness, you are assailed by gouts of flame and acid...
fire damage: 12d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 4, 2, 6, 5, 3, 4, 3, 4, 6, 5) = 50
acid damage: 12d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 4, 3, 6, 2, 4, 6, 6, 4, 6) = 56
acid damage again: 12d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 4, 1, 2, 1, 5, 1) = 29
You get a DC19 Reflex save for half against each blast, AND a DC19 Will save for 20% damage. You all have Resist Fire 30 currently. Teric you did not complete your Resist Acid spell, last round you cast False Life instead.

”S%@&, that’s an 'air elemental' and is a bralani azata in its wind form; a celestial shapechanger able to switch between a humanoid and aerial form at will. Bralani fight with sword and bow when in humanoid form, or in their aerial shape they can buffet with ranged wind blasts. And… it just cast a Deeper Darkness SLA - negating our light sources. Normally that creature can’t do that so it must be possessed by… OUCH OUCH OUCH AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!”

"OWWWWW! The fudge!" Pai's really burning mad! But, first thing's first: Quiella needs the feather. She gropes around in the dark for Quiella's shoulder or head or something. "Quiella? Tell me when you feel my tickly fingers!" She wiggles her fingers as she searches for a few quick seconds, but the thought of getting another nasty-hurty shower makes her impatient.
If Quiella is still standing and still thinks it's a good idea right now, Pai will use the feather on her as a standard action during this turn. If Quiella is unconscious, Pai will put the feather back in her handy haversack instead. And then:
The vibrantly vibrating gnome flies up to the ceiling a bit too quickly and bonks her head. "Ow. Dang it." Then she flies a short distance from the group to make it harder to target everyone in an area of affect spell. Of course, that puts her closer to a different nasty-hurty danger. "Keep talking people, so we know you're alive!"
A creature of wind and mist appears in the corridor near the doorway.
Is this the doorway with Cloudkill blocking it and the red square with a ghostly figure nearby?
GM supervillan
You get Will saves as well Hamish, the blasts are Shadow Evocations.
The first 'wind creature' - Hamish has identified it as a Bralani Azata - emerged from the doorway that leads to the chamber where you faced the Lashmistress and her allies. The ghostly red figure (I'll remove the transparency which I've been using top represent invisibility) is a shadow demon, it will be visible to Quiella and Tùrin should they still be standing after the evocations. It was the source of the third evocation. It has 20% concealment within the cloudkill vapours.

Some high tier scenarios have a huge load on GMs Hamish :o
Krune being a summoner with very high mobility makes this a scenario a GM really has to prepare for - you can't run this kind of thing blind and I don't think it would work in a 4 hour convention slot. Even in PbP, the sheer amount of choices and potential interactions borders on bewildering.

That was a copy/paste error. My apologies and thanks for catching it.
Per this post, Pai would have used the Radiant Ruby Feather on Quiella during her last turn to cast Restoration, removing all CON damage.
"And no one has a torch or a sunrod? FINE! I'll set something on fire!" Pai nabs her bedroll and her set of flint and steel from her handy haversack. I hope none of them blows it out. Or douses it.

Alright, since few of us are talking in game, let's do this ooc. Firstly, only those with Darkvision can see, so a lot of our plans revolve around you pointing things out and/or doing things.
Option 1: Duke it out right here in the darkness. This would involve those that can see hopefully being able to take out some or most of the enemies. We have a couple casters with hopefully some AoE spells left, perhaps those could take out some enemies and even the battle. The rest of us could work to heal up the weakest or remove Con. I would probably reach out and use a feather on Mykel to remove his Con, or directly heal Pai K for a moderate amount. And maybe someone can get a non-magical light or sunrod going eventually.
Option 2: Leave. We activate our teleport rune tokens and zip back home. This probably means we lose some sort of reward, but alternatively if any or all of us die we will lose a lot more on recovery and resurrection. I am tempted to take this route as this does not currently seem very winnable with our lack of light. But I won't abandon y'all, unless y'all dead.
Option 3: Run Away, temporarily. Not ideal as the best fleeing route is back through the fog, which just does more Con Damage. And we will have to move slow or hit some acrobatics checks to move in the dark. And running through the thickest parts of the enemies would likely provoke a bunch of AoO's. And there is no reason our enemies couldn't easily follow us and keep attacking. The only possible benefit here is getting out of the darkness range so we can all see again, but the enemies might also just be able to cast that spell again...
Option 4: Something I haven't thought about.
Hamish the Bard

Disregard the above, per discussion we really don’t have many options. Fight on! Will I need anything complicated to touch an ally next to me that hasn’t moved?

If directed towards Mykel, he will move and try the restoration again. If not he will begin inspire courage and do something else with his standard. Either way he sings mournfully.
I forgot about an immediate action option I have that may help Hamish, at least. I will wait to see what happens with Mykel and some of the group though, but will determine my turn’s actions after some saves are resolved.

GM, was Good Hope in effect last round? Because I didn't apply it to any of my saves
Quiella, reflex, good hope vs 18 dmg: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 12 + 2 = 16
Quiella, reflex, good hope vs 26 dmg: 1d20 + 12 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 12 + 2 = 31
so that's 22dmg from the lightning
Quiella, reflex, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 17
Quiella, will, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 15 + 2 + 2 = 29
20% of 29 = 6
Quiella, reflex, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 32
Quiella, will, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 15 + 2 + 2 = 21
10% of 37 = 4
Quiella, reflex, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 20
Quiella, will, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 15 + 2 + 2 = 24
10% of 27 = 3
Quiella, reflex, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 12 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 12 + 2 + 2 = 29
Quiella, will, illusions, good hope: 1d20 + 15 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 15 + 2 + 2 = 28
10% of 41 = 4
39dmg! Oof
Túrin, Quiella's Companion
Túrin, reflex, good hope vs 18dmg: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 2 = 22
Túrin, reflex, good hope vs 26dmg: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 11 + 2 = 14
So, 37dmg
Túrin, reflex, good hope: 1d20 + 11 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 11 + 2 = 28
Túrin, will, good hope: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 2 = 16

Okay, NOW he's dead. I have a will save re-roll but I think the reflex saves do him in before that does him any good...

Quiella staggers as Túrin collapses to the ground. Blood pours from numerous wounds as she heals her friends, and hot tears pour from her eyes as she feels her connection to the reindeer wink out.
She staggers to her feet and heals herself twice...
If there's a way she can be standing even after Túrin goes down, she'll try that and instead use a move action to close with the nearest foe. She's got a +5 to riding and a -5 ACP
Quiella, Oracle, Cure Moderate Wounds, Fey Foundling: 2d8 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (7, 6) + 4 + 4 = 21
Quiella, lay on hands, favored class, fey foundling: 3d6 + 3 + 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (3, 1, 6) + 3 + (1) + 8 = 22
I'm going to use Beneficent Touch to reroll those two 1s
Beneficent Touch: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 5) = 7
so, that's +48 hp. I think Quiella is back to 51hp now?
"We've got to take some of these things out! I have torches in my pack if anyone can find me and light them!"
GM supervillan
Good Hope is still running. See Party Buffs spoiler below. The +2 didn't change any of your previous save outcomes Quiella.
The pathfinders quail under the barrage of the elements...
Mykel takes 73hp damage but gains 3hp from Life Pact
Hamish takes 80 damage then loses 1hp to Life Pact
Pai S takes 75 damage then loses 1hp to Life Pact
Pai K takes 48 damage and is dead
Teric takes 17 damage
Tùrin takes 73 damage and is dead
Quiella takes 36 damage and loses 1hp to life Pact
Healing: Quiella's life link does 5hp heal to Pai S and Mykel, 10hp damage to Q, she's taken 47. She then heals herself for 48hp and finishes at 58/88hp
Quiella soft fall? Ride DC15: 1d20 + 5 + 2 - 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 2 - 5 = 21
Mykel, Pai Kromnite and Tùrin fall. Quiella still has the presence of mind to dismount cleanly and avoid being trapped under her dead steed, despite her grief.
The combination of Quiella's miraculous healing powers keeps Mykel from death's door - at least for a few moments more. Life Pact stops him dying, then Life Link gives him a few more hp.
Quiella advances on the demons.

Hamish the Bard
|
Remembering his clasp Hamish considers his options as the total darkness continues, Well… no reason staying here to die. Might as well make a run for it. Maybe I can circle around and help later.
The bard disappears from those that can see him, hopefully. His voice rings out, ”Our only hope is to flee into the fog.” He moves along the wall as far as he can.
Using a snapleaf to disappear (invisibility for five minutes). Then using bluff to pass a secret message (can’t fail DC 15) that he is actually fleeing away from the fog, not into it.
I think I have to tumble through the bottom elemental’s square, but should be able to move past everyone else. He will also use Stealth at just less than full speed to move as unobserved as possible, should get 65ft move. Putting end spot and start spot out there.
Stealth at more than half speed - ACP + invis + GH: 1d20 + 7 - 5 - 1 + 20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 7 - 5 - 1 + 20 + 2 = 33
Acrobatics - ACP + GH: 1d20 + 23 - 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 23 - 1 + 2 = 44
Edit to reduce my total move, miscalculated.

"Ugh! But we can't see, so which way is that?!" Pai S. exclaims, distressed at the reduced number of groans and cries of pain from her group. But she gets Hamish's idea. These baddies aren't going to stand around sucking their thumbs while she fishes out her flint and steel and something flammable and then tries to light it. (Unfortunately, that's two rounds before we'd get light, and Pai will pass out if she takes 7 damage b/c of her NL damage.) So she decides to make a run for it. Reaching her hand up, she flies up to the ceiling and flies along it, away from the nasty fog as far as she can go.
Route shown with blue arrows. She has a 60 ft fly speed and is moving half speed. If she bumps into any baddies, she'll try to use Acrobatics to get by without getting hit by an AOO.
Acrobatics to leave threatened square: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Acrobatics to leave threatened square: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
Acrobatics to leave threatened square: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24
Acrobatics to leave threatened square: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
Acrobatics to leave threatened square: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28
To save time, you can roll the rest if you need more.

A quick correction of my last post - Mykel you're already stabilised via the Life Link healing.
GM supervillan
Hamish vanishes, and tries some misdirection. You avoid any AoOs. Bad guys will have to use Move actions to try to detect you with Perception unless they have other appropriate abilities.
Pai S gropes along the ceiling. Which fortunately is high enough at 20' that she avoids bumping into enemies.

In the dark, Teric grimaces as his arcane power cant overcome the demons'. He comes to the same conclusion as Pai and decides to forge ahead out of the darkness. He keeps his hand high on the wall and flies forward.
Teric will try to fly along the wall until his light spell reappears or he can see. He has 60 foot fly speed. Does it take more than 1 move?
