The waraxe misses Pups but the clan dagger does not. (-4)
Only Kidron's first attack hits Dorenea (-14). The positive energy does more damage than expected but it's going to take a lot more than that to take her down.

The ghost bomb hits Pups (-21) Pups is barely standing.
Dorenae strikes back at Kidron using a Sudden Surge to gain an extra action. She steps up and strikes twice.

Axel Zeldo, the "White Wolf" |
"Sit"
A shoulder motion whirls the shiny longarm around his tall body, and in a moment, our gnoll hero is point blank with a sadistic grin, tongue sticking out the side of his mouth. With a KAFOOM a pellet smashes into the undead hound, followed immediately by a wild swing with the stock of the rifle, pistol-whipping the mutt across it's rotting maw, followed then by a CHOK CHIK sound as Axel swiftly reloads!

Pups goes down from Axel's assault. Only the undead zombie knight is left, still muttering 'None must leave'.
It's a boulder and since it's base is 5ft across, it's height is about 3-4 fit so, yes, it can provide partial cover.
Kidron and Shade are still up plus Squish and Highwire can now act.
Kidron Quintus |
The paladin is going to move and give the gnome a look like, I am setting this up for you,
Action 1 Stride
He then strikes at the undead woman

Laying Hands
Your hands become infused with positive energy, healing a living creature or damaging an undead creature with a touch. If you use lay on hands on a willing living target, you restore 6 Hit Points; if the target is one of your allies, they also gain a +2 status bonus to AC for 1 round.
He heals 6 damage and has a 23 AC for one round.
Highwire Sanja |
Highwire steps to the side, taking advantage of Kidron's positioning. They punch twice rapidly in succession, and then twirl their fists defensively in front of them, a swirling shield of purple energy manifesting between the gnome and the undead.

That is okay. I read that on the Knights of Last Wall entry in one of the early Lost Omens books. That is one of the reason that he took the fauchard and tends to use it rather than his bastard sword. I think that the line goes something like, they use the fauchard to deal with hordes of zombies
phaeton_nz |
If it is possible for a zombie knight to look in very bad shape then this one is (-86)

She uses another Sudden Surge to strike, rendering the target flatfooted for that Strike. The other two Strikes are against normal AC. The target is Highwire.

Axel Zeldo, the "White Wolf" |
"Fine I'll stay"
Continuing the swift motion from clocking Pups in the jaw while reloading, Axel whirls his longarm back around his shoulder, securing it with nary a thought but a trained reflex to his upper back, and with another hand, draws a Ghost Charge bomb from his utility belt, and twisting it clockwise on it's upper hemisphere and counterclockwise on it's lower hemisphere, activates a soft glow accompanied by a high frequency whine, which as he almost casually tosses it at the remaining knight, the sound increases in tempo until an explosion of brilliant light engulfs the creature from beyond the grave, bathing it in radiant energy, sapping it's negative vitality!

You can recover Rook's Spellbook, Pup's spiked collar, and Doreena's weapons. Doreenae also has a diary page ((see slides))
Ulfgar Ironhead |
Religion: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Ulfgar gives a single, curt nod as their work is completed.
He stows his weapons and begins to collect the possessions of the dead, both as proof that they've been found and put to rest and because such objects often become focal points of restless spirits.
He pauses to read the last entry in the diary and blanches, looking around at the edges of the island with fresh paranoia.
"Shade" Atteran |
Tears in his eyes, Shade does what he can for the fallen knights. He attempts to consecrate their graves, but fears there is little he can do, here.
”While it shall be gruesome, perhaps we should try and bring their bodies back to the Lastwall survivors.”
Kidron Quintus |
The paladin nods his head. The Knights Reclaimant do have a field office in Absalom. If we cannot do that for the bodies, we can take what weapons and armor from them that we can, and entrust their spirits to the gods venerated by my Order, and burn the bodies that their bodies never be animated again/
phaeton_nz |
The weapons and armour are in good shape - extremely usable.
Axel Zeldo, the "White Wolf" |
Axel shrugs.
Slumping one of the bodies over his shoulder disceremoniously, he prepares to carry it back to whence they had come.
Highwire Sanja |
Highwire helps move the bodies into position for a proper sacred burning. "We should explore the remainder of the island, for the undead that attached them, to add to this pyre."
phaeton_nz |
After the sacred burning, your search finds no more undead

Once you have found as many mementos as you can, you can return to Caliphas and debrief Timitheo. The knight appreciates any items and information found but he doesn’t want to hear if anyone turned undead and stops you if the conversation turns in that direction.
For completing the investigation, Tim gives you your reward and says if you ever need help from the Knights of Lastwall, you can contact him.
I'll report and send out Chronicles as soon as I can. Return to the Grave will start as soon as I am done
