Welcome everyone to the game, I'm very excited to be able to run this all for you.
I really do enjoy running games and I hope you all will enjoy playing. If you have any issues at all during the game, let me know and I will do my absolute best to help.
Here is the sign up sheet for the game where you can fill out your information for the Starfinder Society characters you will be playing with: Sign Up Sheet
I'll be running the game on this slideshow and you can either crop your art yourself to make your character tokens or place it on the marked slide and I'll set it up for you.
Maps and Handouts
Let me know if there are any questions you might have as we lead up to the start in less than a couple weeks!

I filled out the signup-sheet. Is there anything else, I should do until the game starts? - apart from finalizing my character sheet of course.

Pledge your undying fealty to RZMR, your new AI overlord! The pool deck will be closed from 10 pm due to maintenance.

GM Blazej, as you might be able to tell from my header, Chance has a bunch of rerolls, some of which can be offered to others. If someone really needs one, please offer it to them.
| GM Blazej |
Thank you for letting me know. I will absolutely keep that in mind. I jsut wanted to confirm your rerolls you could offer were from "Worlanisi Gamble" and your "Campaign Coin"? Is that correct?
Chance the Fortunaut
|
Yes. I also have some luck things personally.
Once a day I can make a Lucky Guess on a skill, rolling as if I possessed that skill. (That's from a Worlanisi feat that seemed particularly useful for a Solarian as unskilled as Chance is.)
And I have the Season One Explorer Boon that once per adventure allows me to turn a 19 into 20 in combat.
They're both somewhat unusual abilities, so I thought I'd warn you in advance about them.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an avatar appropriate to a male dirindi character?
This might be a challenge…
| DM Kludde |
This one, perhaps? Nothing really comes close…
I’d get mighty confused, though
Personally, i’d go for something abstract (maybe something with lightning is available?) or something blobby (there’s a ‘Swinomancer’ that might work)
All these aliens are tricky, even a simple kasatha has only ~8 options
| DM Kludde |
Hey, i’ve got a smile as well ;-)
Chance the Fortunaut
|
Oh! This may be the first time I have seen a dirindi played by someone else! It's good to see you, Trill!

Did you know that dirindi opticians make 50% more than the pact world average?

Dirindi fact checkers are renowned throughout near space. Multiple news outlets have had programs talking about the DNN and the quality of their information.

Did you know that the word 'Triage' evolved from Dirindi physicians examining their patients in Emergency Rooms? If you had to use the third eye to examine someone, they needed more help.

GM -- Can you put the following Player Notes file in the headers for this campaign so that everyone can find it and contribute to it? I don't want us to lose track of any leads that were mentioned in passing.
It should be editable by all, so please contribute your notes and observations. Trill helped me mark down things written by GM Blazej in the course of this investigation.

Chance is happy to break down doors, but figures that a subtler touch might be welcome here. I've just had Research Rat aid Norbert or RZMR.

I must say, this scenario has been giving great opportunities for megalomaniac banter so far

I'm traveling over Easter (Wed to Wed), so my posting may be slow. Please bot me (with appropriate megalomaniac proclamations) as needed.

I will be at a local convention this weekend. I’ll be posting less, but given everyone else is also slowing down I don’t expect this to be a problem.
Chance the Fortunaut
|
I will be at the same convention as Trill.
| GM Blazej |
Alright. That is good for the conventions as we are coming to and end on the adventure now despite the downbeat I've just posted.
If you all wish to roll Day Jobs or anything else you would like me to notate on your chronicle sheets, you can do so here and I'll get those out before the convention.
Chance the Fortunaut

Chance has no day job. She just drifts from mission to mission.

After Trill pitchs his idea of a tour of the secret hideout, VC Arvin finds a different portion of the Lorespire that Trill can give tours of.

I've sent out chronicle sheets to everyone either by email or by PM here on the forums. Let me know if there are any corrections you need.
I will be leaving this open as we finish the debriefing and complete anything you wish, but I will say it has been wonderful to run for you all. Thank you all for playing at my table.

Thank you for having us at your table. It was a pleasure! Are you already having plans for another game?
Concerning day jobs: didn't think about it that much. But I suppose Albrik is doing his duties as a low ranking priest at the nearest temple of Sarenrae, when the society doesn't need him.

GM Blazej is alway fantastic!
Albrik, do you know about Castamir's Station? It's the campaign where other Starfinder campaigns get recruited. Or... contact GM Kludde and get pulled into one of their Starfinder campaigns. I want you to be able to find all sorts of games!
Hmm
Albrik Gleyan
|
That's good to know. Thank you! I saw it in the recruitment forum, but always suspected it to be just a special campaign. But that explains, why it's so difficult to find starfinder games in the normal recruitment threads.
I'll take a look at it. I could definitely get used to having a starfinder-game going.
Another question as this is my first society game: in the sheet I received from GM Blazej it seems like we gained 1XP? I didn't expect to lvl up immediately, but that seems to be an odd number. And the items at the bottom? They are just the things any of us collected during the game?

Safari Writer (tools & clothing): 1d20 + 6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 4 + 1 = 19
His mission gave Myzrimm' some idea about an urban safari!
@Albrik: In SFS you gain 1XP per mission completed and for each 3XP you level up :)
The items in the Chronicle Sheet are object you've found during the adventure and that you're allowed to purchase with two limits: 1. your credits, 2. max your level +2

Hey, free advertisement for my games! Nice!
@Albrik: I see you've already found the sign-up sheet, looking forward to have you. If anyone else wants to join, feel welcome!
| GM Blazej |
Thank you for all the praise.
@Albrik: I will be looking to start another game soon, but first I want to settle the remaining games for the OutPost event. When I do I'll probably post it to Castamir's Station.
Mizzrym' answered the question about experience and the items on the sheet.
As one more point of clarification though, you don't get to keep gear you collect during an adventure as anything that isn't used is sold at the end of the adventure for the credits you get as reward. So if there is any of that gear you want to have going into a future adventure you need to purchase it.
