Ummm, magic doesn't work, I'm not great in this situation, its fascinating how this construct resists all spells, but I'm decidedly not a fan he says, thinking a moment, before scrambling for the crossbow forgotten on his pack, loading a cold-iron bolt he fires it into the melee, trying to hit the construct and not his allies.

Which "him?" Theaoror's AC is normally 22, versus the 23 attack, but the last post before yours included a successful Aid Another for Thearor's AC. Not that I think it matters overly much in the grand scheme.
The half-elf is obviously annoyed at how easily this patchwork opponent avoided his last lumberingly slow strike, but, demonstrating a decided lack of imagination, he tries it again.

Excellent find Carlin! Those are potentially valuable, I'm not sure about the use for the salt, but we should bring it with us just in case there are giant slugs or the like below. Willard peers at the carvings, Ahhh yes! This is the Great Pharaoh Azghaad, known as the Waterbringer for delivering water to the people of Sothis. He also founded the city of Sothis. Perhaps this is his tomb? Very exciting, the amount of documentation we could recover. See this, this mark in Ancient Orisian means 'founder of' and this one here represents the city of Sothis itself. Quite a good find indeed.... the arcanist stops, realizing he's being a little too into it and stops awkawardly.

Carlin grabs the bolts and makes a face at them.
Could have used you just now... she says as she puts them with her regular bolts. She then listens to Willard relate his knowledge.
So...did you find out from those scratches where we have to go now?

A profound quiet has settled over this timeworn hall. Elegant stone columns line the passage, and hieroglyphics and colorful art depict scenes from a distant age. A small wooden door stands at the east end of the hallway, while a larger door leads south. The sound of steady splashing water is audible through an open passageway to the north, and large stone doors lead outside. One of the pillars has collapsed, and a crushed human corpse lies pinned underneath. The distinctive shape of a wayfinder peers out from under the body’s hand.

Yes...a burial would be ideal...or at the very least we tell them where she lies...in case we can't do anything. Carlin thinks for a moment, then has a spark of inspiration.
Ooh..try this... she says excitedly as she rummages through her bag. She pulls out a slab of metal, that somehow shifts into a gleaming pickaxe.

Did we search the whole outside, or just the courtyard area? Did 'search the entire area' encompass the rooms over the gate and the rooms to the north of the courtyard too, or do we still need to look at those?
"Thank you. We can load her on the camels when it is time to go. For the next room...I don't see anything that might indicate the best way forward. Let us begin with the northernmost room and work clockwise."

The relaxing splash of water echoes throughout this tiled room. A large, pristine pool occupies much of the chamber, and a statue of a warrior-maiden serves as the centerpiece, endlessly pouring water from an ornate jar. A large carving on the east wall depicts a frightening man who stares at the viewer, with half his body burnt and ruined and the other half young and healthy. A withered corpse lies in the northwest corner. An open doorway to the south leads to the fortress’ entry hall.
