a bit strange as well. [Everyone in the town seemed to stare at them as they walked through, and he had heard more
than one comment about how they didn’t get any visitors here anymore. He began to wonder if they had made a
mistake coming here, but what choice did they have after their guide had died from a scorpion’s bite and a sandstorm
had driven them into this mysterious mountain pass?

Father Cornelius follows you inside the manor. Very interested in the book, "This is a Tome of the Word and Law of Mitra. It was was one of the original relics of the shrine."
Noticing Felix discovering the trap door, "Another entrance down below it seems. There used to be treasure seekers here from all over seeking relics from the White Tower."


Nodding politely to Father Cornelius, "Thank you sahib, have ever read the tome before?" He looks to the others, "I believe we should return the relic to the shrine."

Moving to the south he attempts to open the door on that wall.

Takikng a couple of minutes Ratel searches the bed chamber so he can inform Felix and Tal'ariel of any loot.

When finished he returns downstairs, telling the others. "There really isn't enough room here, so we probably should spend the night in the inn, we'll just need to set a watch just in case."

Seeing the woman behind the chest, Ratel, jumps back. Fearing the worst he uses his 'detect evil' ability then asks "Who are you?" adding "We mean no harm." Looking from he to Felix and Tal'ariel, mentally adding 'Probably.'

With the confirmation that the party plans to go down into the tunnels Father Cornelius gives Iz-dubar a ring.

Iz-dubar:
A lion headed, gold ring with topaz eyes. It radiates a continuous protection from evil spell as if cast by a 20th level Cleric. It was you or Ratel that Cornelius was going to give this to. You will not need additional treasure for awhile.

When Iz puts on the ring appears a handsome fighter in shining gold +2 celestial full plate. With tawny golden hair and amber, cat eyes he carries a +2 holy cold iron great sword. As he appears he stars to sing,

Later when he puts on the ring Iz is startled by the appearance of the handsome warrior. It takes Iz a few seconds to respond, ”Hail and well met George! Blessings of Mitra be poured down upon you as well. I am Iz-dubar warrior priest in service to Mitra. To what do we owe the honor of your company?”
