Hey guys, sorry for the slight delay. Had a rough few days of work, I’ll catch up on everything tomorrow afternoon/evening. Thanks for your understanding!

I tried converting Azadi to a wizard/alchemist to see what he would look like and realized that it would really necessitate enough change to his background/personality that he’s not really the same character anymore. I have some free time tomorrow, so I’m going to just set up a completely separate character so we can see them side by side and decide what to do. Sorry to drag this out to more than just a day or two, but I think tomorrow we should be able to have everything settled either way.

Alright, today ended up a little bit busier than I expected, so this profile isn't fully completed, but it's most of the way there (I didn't fill in the class ability spoiler, but that's mostly just copy/paste work, I haven't picked spells/extracts, and there's no narrative background although the background questions are all answered).

I think this is probably enough for people to offer more specific feedback on if they're interested/willing.

He's definitely more bound by resource management than Azadi, and he's lost the Indiana Jones-ish vibe (if anything he's bit closer to Henry Jones Senior), but he's very knowledgeable and can actually identify magic items we find, plus he can deal with swarms which I'm not sure anyone else in the party is really able to.

I think that John fits the bill nicely in terms of being wicked smart and able to blow things up! Probably a better fit for the party mechanically because it fills in some gaps in our skill set. As long as you're happy with him, I believe we'd all go for it!

Who is Yasmin talking to if we all have our own rooms? Does Yasmin also have her own pet rock?!

Sorry for the quiet weekend, this is a busy time of year. Next weekend isn't likely to be much better but after that I should be back to a normal schedule.

I've never used Roll20 before, and I'm fairly certain that it's going to be blocked at my work, where I do a good chunk of PbP gaming. I've downloaded the app to my phone and am willing to give it a shot, though.

If it doesn’t work for you, Anovat, I can just move your token and generally explain it and everyone else can use it. Or we can not use it at all and just go theatre of the mind/another site that does get the job done, whatever works for all of us.

I've joined the roll20 campaign now too, as "Lief S." (the name of another PC I joined for). I do most of my posting from my phone (often at work) and I have always had trouble getting roll20 to work right for me. I'll do my best to use it but it would be helpful for me if combat is described enough to use theater of the mind when I can't get in (and I know I'll need help with moving my token sometimes because I've consistently had problems with that).

I've assigned everyone's tokens. Yasmin, if you have a token image you want to use instead of whatever random roc image I'd use, feel free to link it and I'll ad it to your control too.

I like Roll20. It's handy.

But I do know in my other games, the DM and the other players have the same difficult time posting from their phones. Everyone likes it but Roll20 is simply not "phone friendly".

That's not an issue for me because I only post from my computer. :)

Ah, I've never used it on the phone as I always use my pc as well.

My bad, Anovat, I should've let you tend to her. Heck, Emercy should've been the one aiding you, buddy. I didn't know you were so awesome in the Heal skill. I know now, though. :)

Ha, it's only a two point difference in our Heal bonus, and I rolled higher.

Also, you picked two classes that only get two skill points per level, whereas both of my classes at least get four. Neither of us focuses much on Intelligence, though.

Hey all, I'm leaving on vacation with my family tomorrow for Spring Break. I expect that I will still be able to post, but I may be delayed.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts, we had a tornado come within 2-4 miles of our house Friday afternoon, and our internet and power has been out for a bit. Everyone is fine, and there was no damage or injury to me or my family, thankfully.

Sorry for falling silent for a few days there- work this week was insane trying to get everything set up for the couple weeks I'll be out after my surgery. It's all done now and I should have a ton of time for posting next week, until the surgery on Friday. I probably won't post at all next weekend but I'm hoping that by Monday I'll be able to post one-handed, lol. I will be high (on the prescribed pain medication) but hopefully you won't be able to tell (or if you can hopefully it'll be funny and not disruptive).

Hey, I worry that this is going to sound more aggressive than I mean it to, but with the slow rate of our posting, I'm not interested in anything overnight in this city. I'm excited about moving forward with the adventure. No hard feelings if anyone else wants to rp overnight, though.

Yeah, that is partially my fault, and I am sorry for that! There isn't much to be found, was mostly throwing out some details for a post or two before we left the city and moved on.

If you want to skip to leaving the city the next morning, can absolutely do that!
