Again, so sorry for the mixup, hope it got cleared up on time.

As Yellow starts spewing, Squash lashes out at it, slashing open a wide gash in its flesh! Crit! But the gash quickly grows teeth, and chomps down on Squash's arm as it whips past. Seems like this thing has some sort of reaction upon damaging it.

Jaws vs Squash: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (2) + 14 = 16
Luckily it's a big ol' miss.

Raindrop manages to escape and flutter free of Pink's clutches, while her eidolon bites back in revenge, but sadly misses. She also activates some fast healing on herself.

Zabu runs up to flank the yellow flesh-bag. Because it has eyes on the back of its... head?, it can't be flanked, but Zabu manages to connect anyway because of Squash's intimidation!

Manny lashes out at Yellow twice, with only the second attack connecting. He then boosts the team's defenses.

Squash tries to intimidate Pink, but Pink is not really impressed. He then hits Pink. The gash in Pink's flesh fills up with teeth and chomp on Squash's arm.

Meanwhile, Aerin isn't having much luck, flailing wildly around himself.

The monsters don't hit back when the eidolon attacks them. Must be something Squash is doing that triggers it.

Zabu goes wild on the other pile of flesh next to him and takes big chunks out of it, but it's still standing. Two hits!

Then Red tries to retaliate, still moaning under Green's auditory assault.

It starts foaming at the mouth again, readying another barrage of stomach contents, but Raindrop's eidolon intercepts and tears it to shreds before it can fire another salvo.

Green is no longer confused by its "allies" and decides to chomp down on 1d3 ⇒ 1 Aerin.

Frustrated, it then packs itself together and barrels over Aerin, swallowing him up in the process!

This thing has a one-action Engulf ability, targeting Aerin. Aerin, please make a DC 22 Reflex save to avoid being engulfed.
If Aerin makes it, it can technically continue to try engulfing others, but due to PbP nature, let's keep it simple.

Aerin fails to dodge out of the way of the fleshy mass and gets eaten. Luckily, the rest of the party dogpiles on top of it and tears you free.
If it's any consolation, the DC was 22, and even lower due to Frighten. >_>

I assume healing is done. No need to roll, you're high level and Atae can only fail Medicine checks on a nat 1.

There's three more monoliths that need deactivating. Nothing happens until you've deactivated the final monolith, so you can just roll for the next three, if you want.

You have three options to deal with the monoliths:
- You can destroy the monolith to disperse the magic within. This can be done by either damaging it, or by several Athletics checks to topple it.
- You can purify the monoliths by doing the ritual on the scroll. It takes a minute each time and requires an Arcana, Occultism, or Religion check. If you fail, you can't purify this monolith anymore (meaning others have to do it, or you're gonna have to break it).
- You can also absorb the magic of the monolith into yourself. You can do this only once, and you become Drained 1 for the rest of the adventure.

One person can do all the rolls, or you can take turns, however you want to do it.

You can also make an Occultism or Religion check to figure things out about these flesh-heaps for more Dream Points, if you're interested.

Yeah. Atae's the only one with Medicine, but I see she has healer's tools and a +14 on Medicine, so it shouldn't be a problem. But if you want to do it this way, I think your three-action heal should put everyone to full again.

Atae, you can keep your Hero Point. Manny already performed all the rituals.
Manny, your Heroism has run out by now. The ritual takes one minute each, so a second Heroism would work. All Manny's checks are fails on their own, but the Dustbound Scroll gives a bonus that makes them succeed. :)

After each ritual is performed, the black pyramid grinds and changes configuration each time, indicating that whatever it is you're doing, it's doing something.

After the final monolith has been purified, the world around you goes black for a moment, as if you've blinked, and suddenly you find yourselves in front of the inverted pyramid.

The black pyramid’s blocks finish reconfiguring, and the structure sinks into the dust. Golden eyes first manifest above it, then the rest of an alabaster-pale woman wearing fitted dress armor slowly fades into view, her visage rippling slightly like a watery reflection. Manny can't really get a bead on this woman. There is anger and disdain in her voice, maybe partially directed at you, maybe at the situation she's in. She seems truthful though, and her story would explain what happened to the Drake. Considering you had to break her out of the pyramid, it seems she was trapped here. Unless she wanted you to think she's on your side and locked herself in.... Gah, the possibilities in a dreamspace are infinite.

She sniffs at Manny's question. "This feels like the Shadow Plane, yes, but not entirely. For instance, I've been watching you since your arrival here, and I can exert some willpower to shape this space. Something you," she nods her head at Zabu "have already experienced. The only thing Zabu is generally interested in less than questions is answers to those questions.

He does examine her, though, deciding after careful contemplation that Blakros women live up to their reputations, or at least this one does.

It'd be nicer if she wasn't all wispy, though.
