"Sorry folks--better out than in, my pa used to say!" Jilla belches out another gout of flame.
Last of the elixir of fire breath. I'll target Clortho, or if they're out, another foe within range.

Holmes moves closer to the Wild Hunt's leader, who is thrashing around in the leaves. Jack chops Clortho on the back. It feels more like chopping into wood than flesh, but he stills manages to do some significant damage. Jilla then expels the last bit of fuel from her magic elixir. Clortho must be tough as nails, because he is still fighting but at this point he is covered in injuries and his fur is smoking.

A wall of wood appears in front of the hunter.
I'm expecting that you're going to debate this, but the silent Image will also block line of sight for allies as well.
Clortho swings at Holmes with his polearm while trying to smash Jack's feet with his horns, all while still on the ground. Amazingly, both strikes manage to hit.

And then moves to his feet to finish him next round.
Leryn still panicked? If so he keeps running. If not he'll come back to Adowyn.

As an immediate action in response to the horned attack
Once per day as an immediate action when the rogue is hit, the rogue can create a single shadow duplicate of herself, as per mirror image. The GM randomly determines whether the attack hit the rogue or the shadow duplicate. The shadow duplicate lasts for a number of rounds equal to the rogue’s level, or until the shadow duplicate is dispelled or destroyed. This ability does not stack with the mirror image spell.
As a silent image user, himself, Bahram loves to see it in use.

![]() |

@GM Badblood - It is a real wall of wood I tell you so of course the rest of the party cannot see through it. ;)

Sorry, I forgot to update. The shaken effect would be over and Leryn would no longer be panicking.
Shadow Duplicate, 1 is bad: 1d2 ⇒ 1
Jack creates a shadow duplicate of himself, but Clortho's horns still find his leg.
Adowyn fires a shot at the stunned and blinded hunter. It is definitely not a good shot, but the hunter's skill is such that even her bad shots sometimes hit and she manages to graze Ronronne's arm with an arrow. Adowyn then continues moving right up to the hunter.
The combination of the blinded and stunned condition helped out.

Hearing Clortho's screams of pain, Xox shouts out, "It sounds like I just got promoted to leader! Don't worry my precious prey! A little wall isn't going to stop an expert climber like Xox!" Suddenly the hunter finds himself awkwardly stumbling through Reglar's "wall" with a surprised look on his face. "Oh, that was a nice trick!"

Yeah, the going up the hill would be difficult terrain, but going down would be normal.
The hell hounds surround the color spryaed hunter and bite at them while Adowyn and Alecto fire missiles into them. Unlike Clortho, this hunter doesn't seem to be bothered by the flames coming out of the hounds' mouths but does seem to be considerably bothered by their teeth and the combined attacks finish him off. Relgar curls up in the leaves, hoping no one attacks him. Holmes moves towards Adoywn and drops Xox's bow at her wolve's feet.
Jack moves up to the last hunter and chops at him with his axe. The blade gets Xox in the shoulder. Grinning wildly, the hunter says "Well, it looks like I'm probably going to die today. So since you put on such a good show I will tell you how to get out of these woods. You just need to retrace your steps, exactly how you got here. But its got to be backwards of course. @Jack - It depends on your point of view. As you already knew the outcome for the d20 roll I would say 1 in 12. What is more important is that 12 is the maximum damage possible for the axe. Good job. :)

Rather than doing the math, at this point I'm going to call it.
The party surround the last remaining hunter and chop them down. Xox fights to the bitter end and dies with a smile on their strange, bestial face. Snow begins to softly fall on the dead and dying hunters as the season changes into winter.
The party then notices some stirring over where Clortho is lying in the snow
.
"There is nothing that builds comraderie like dying together. New life means a new start. I just wish Daisag could be here for this, that monkey faced jerk. Oh well. Her loss." Clortho rolls his head toward the direction of the Pathfinders. "You know how to get out of here, right? Just walk backwards. Now, could one of you do the honor of finishing me off? The sooner I die the sooner I can get back to the hunt."

He adjusts his equipment to be plunged into the cold water once again.

"Well, time to get back even if we all have to walk backwards."
The gnome shakes his head.
"Those people were hard core. Pranks and shenanigans I can handle but this whole cycle of death and rebirth followed by endless hunting in this strange place is just a little too much for me. Perhaps the gnomes wandering over into Golarion was not the worst thing after all."

We're leaving. Alecto will see how you do the steps in reverse and will repeat after the group.

While all of the bags seem to contain something, most of them don't seem to have anything inside them. But three of the bags are unique.
One is obviously Azure's pigments, as this bag is spilling over with rainbow colors. When someone dips their hands into the bag their fingers emerge covered in multicolored ink; but if they think of a specific object or color paint of that specific tint comes out. All the pigments fade away after a few minutes.
Another bag is covered in fur and shakes and growls when it is handled. When someone reaches in, they feel something warm and furry, but about the same size and shape as a large apple.
Finally, there is one bag that is larger than the rest and seems to be stuffed to capacity. When its opened up the party can hear the sounds of a hunting horn, followed by panpipes, joyful cheering and raucous laughter. The voices all seem to belong to different members of the Wild Hunt, including the vanayara archer the Pathfinders encountered by the frozen lake.
The party walks backwards through the woods and within five minutes they have reached the frozen lake. Just as they did before, they have to enter the water withershins and turned about before emerging on the other side. When they emerge in the Material Plane, they see that Jamila and Falbin are finishing up a ritual to seal the Breach.
Azure runs up to the Pathfinders excitedly. "Oh blue skies, you've all returned safely! Do you have my pigments? You must tell me about everything you saw there!"
Everyone can also roll a d6 as they emerge from the well.

Holmes' pen is noticely larger and when he touches it several tiny, blinking eyes sprout along the stem. Luckily they make any noise and they just shut when he touches them with his finger.
Alecto's holy symbol is not changed much; except that it now emits a mild pine smell. Probably the most appropriate mutation.
Relgar's lucky chestnut looks the same, but when he holds the little nut it emits a stream of iridescent bubbles that float a few feet above him before popping.
Adowyn's flask of acid coos and giggles like a baby when she holds it. The sound is pleasant and its a pity its such a fragile object.
