From the Tome of Righteous Repose (Inactive)

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 3–7.

When the necromancer-king Tar-Baphon rose as a lich and threatened to conquer all of Avistan, Taldor rallied its neighbors and led the Shining Crusade, a glorious campaign that defeated the Whispering Tyrant’s armies and sealed him away. For the better part of a millennium, Lastwall has guarded Tar-Baphon’s prison and fended off the orc tribes to the north, rarely sparing a second thought to the rich archaeological secrets that lie just below the soil. A local venture-captain has found a lost chapter to the Tome of Righteous Repose, which chronicles the demise of countless heroes of the Shining Crusade. At long last, this has earned the Society Lastwall’s blessing to uncover these lost sites, lay to rest the fallen crusaders, and repatriate the family heirlooms they carried to battle.

"From the Tome of Righteous Repose" is an evergreen, replayable scenario designed to provide a flexible adventure that confronts the PCs with a variety of threats more common to higher-level characters—all while uncovering the history of one of Avistan’s greatest conflicts. Depending on which lead the PCs take, they might explore the proud crusader nation of Lastwall, travel into the gloom-shrouded mountains of Ustalav, or risk an expedition into the orc-ruled wastes of Belkzen in pursuit of lost history.

Pretty basic stuff, this is a REPEATABLE scenario that will be run in CORE. First come first taken. PFS characters only. 6 players maximum. Players should be prepared to post at least once a day. Pre-gens allowed, level appropriate to sub-tier.

I'm signing up now with Ahmande--at 5th level, he can play whichever tier we end up in--but I may pivot once the tier is settled and the rest of the party is knows; I have CORE PCs all across this range, and may choose one of the others if there's a better fit for the party.

I just realized that Ahmande leveled up to 6 with his last chronicle, which I still need to apply. If the party ends up firmly low tier, I will likely switch him out for a low tier PC (I have plenty). I've ninja-dotted into Gameplay, but will wait on an introductory post until we know the tier for sure.

You should have 7 chronicle sheets then, unless you applied a chronicle sheet boon. That would make this one #8. If your GM doesn't fill that box in, it's best to fill it in yourself.

Even playing a 7, you would still only bring the APL to 4. Given it's a core, 4-player, party, it might be good to have the 7 along.

Can everyone change their Roll20 alias in the room to their character name? If you don't know how, just let me know the alias you are currently using.

I've got no idea what I'm doing in Roll20. I used it once years ago, and all I remember was that it was a high learning curve and I was never comfortable using it. Sorry!

I don't know how to set up slides, so I'm not sure what to do at this point.

All people need to do is log in to see the map, and move their pieces. Is that going to be a problem?

I'm sure I can figure it out, but I'm going to need a tutorial. When I open Roll20 and "Launch Game," all I see is a black screen and a chat to the right that looks like it's weeks old with rolls from a previous session.

Tell me how to find my alias and give it a name, and I'll be happy to do it, but I'm lost at this point.

I think the easiest way to learn is to copy a slide deck that you like, and make edits. If you have a slide deck open in Google Slides, there's a File menu that has a "Make a copy" option.

I can log in to the map, but I can't select and move my token at all.

Yeah, as I said, it's not interactive yet, that's just a still image.
