Well, I doubt that she will get picked to come along, after all, its plugg that has determined the crew.
I've named out most of them. there might be an NPC or two that I missed. :)

I don't know why Syl and all those folks WOULDN'T be coming to the Promise with us, given that they're Plugg & Scourge's BFFs -- from a storytelling perspective, we've invested a lot of time and energy into interacting with 'em...we're not getting rid of them anytime soon, I bet.

Yeah, it makes me sad too.

Well, if they do come along, I guess we will just have to arrange accidents for them. :)
Now, THIS I wouldn't be opposed to! That sure would turn my frown upside down. ;)

Lets see, accidents that can happen at sea.
Oops, man overboard.
Geez, the rope parted while they were using it to haul themselves up the mast.
Oops, they fell onto my knife I was cleaning (27 times)
They tripped and fell onto the table and broke themselves.
somehow got tangled in the anchor cable when we dropped anchor
They got an arrow when we were boarding the enemy ship.
I am sure there might be one or two more ideas kicking around the party. :)

knowing what atia and sharkbait are up to, the chance of child may be low, but higher than expected.. :)

Oh hell no. Absolutely not. <3 Atia's a wizard and there are ways to prevent things from taking root ;)

Not even a remote possibility at all, haha. That's the beauty of a fantasy world.

Just saying its a possibility.
After all, "Life will find a way"

LOL!
(Besides, that's only dinosaurs, 'Dreamer. Doesn't apply to us humans). ;)

I figured that it was the whim of the GM, not just dino's. :)

Nah, Fern would never do anything like that without obtaining explicit consent first. Any DM who would do otherwise needs to do a lot of soul-searching.
Playing a pregnant character would be excruciatingly boring, anyway!
DM Fern
Did the thing where I failed to see a million new posts here lol, must've x'd it out accidentally. Confirming the baby-free game, lol, barring someone explicitly wanting that to happen. To do otherwsie is right out of r/rpghorrorstories ;)
And don't worry, your 'friends' aren't going anywhere for a while. =D
Atia Leroung
Lanni, you popping in with Atia and Mateo or a different time? I didn't see your post before I did mine. I can edit it to loop Lanni in.
Atia Leroung
I'll edit you in. Just a moment. <3
Atia Leroung
Aaaand now Lanni is included <3
Atia Leroung
Please keep doing it, I can't stop laughing lol

Been a long day and I should be in bed, so no good post from me tonight. I'm sorry. There's been a lot that should be fun to interact with. But I don't want you to hold the story waiting.
That's why chronomancy is great. Post it later when you do have time and energy if you want.
DM Fern
I added a handouts link up above, atm the only thing there is a reference for the jobs and rolls needed. At this point we've done most of them so there are no surprises, lol. Dreamer is welcome to assign them each day, when he's busy you guys can pick the one you're doing each day unless I say otherwise. On the Wormwood Terry was our only rigger, you're welcome to mix things up on the Promise, but Atia is continuing as Kroop's handler.
Mateo Nikas
I don't think that Mateo has been sweet enough to be excused from the terrible work that is being a deck swab. Mateo will take it on the chin as he needs to.

Lots of questions.
What's the chronography? How far into the day's events should we be playing in? The day's work, yes? How about the rolls for the work? Dinner? Evening activities?
I have all sorts of things planned to post during the evening, but I don't want to run across any plot event that will happen. And I don't want to outrun the other players. So I need to know how long my leash is.
Also, where in the ship is it that we eat? In the galley itself, or is that just for cooking? Do we instead eat in the crew berths?

Fun.
The galley is where both the food is cooked, and eaten.
During the 1800's, this was also the spot where the ships surgeon conducted surgery during battle.
Crew berths is a batch of hammocks that are slung between posts and the gunwale.

I love me some pirate factoids. I did a whole lot of research into pirate code's and whatnot. Excited when we murder everyone on the ship are free to sail the seas ourselves!
DM Fern
Ok, lol. We'll stick to daytime work shift stuff for now. That's kinda how we've run it so far, everybody does day stuff, then everybody does night stuff. You can sneakily do things during your shift including your seance stuff. Plugg has basically gotten rid of night time activities and plan to work you until night, feed you, then bed.
People can eat anywhere. Officers' cabin and Captain's cabin are of limits, the rest of the ship is fair game.

OK, cool. I can probably work with that. Seance stuff is best when done in groups, but we may have to have smaller groups for the moment. I'll see if I can work it into dinner itself.

Man, I just got caught up on the posts. Now to figure out what to type with everything that is going on.

From the timing of things, I think I will have posted after you read the thread, but before you post your own stuff. So it will end up being easy for you to miss. Since some of what I wrote is talking to you directly, I'll make note of it here to point it out.
Seadreamer Stonebeard
I was in the middle of reading it the day before and got jumped on by life.
I then tried to read yesterday, and continued to get swamped, at which point I asked to be botted.
Now caught up, on the promise, and it seems like plugg wants to work us to death. :(
With how things are, I am thinking there might be one or two overboard soon enough. :)
Atia Leroung
For Atia, I'm rolling for Kroop being alive and what she's doing just for Fern's sanity--we talked about it today while we've been at work. Just FYI for anyone wondering why I'll be doing that roll.
Atia Leroung
That's Kroop's problem, lol
Atia Leroung
Re: The galley - take a look at it on the map in roll20. People aren't eating in there, lol. It's just the kitchen for cooking. There's barely room for Atia and Ambrose to cook in there themselves.

I just want to point out, while I have no ideas how many times I've tried to start this AP, this is the first time I've gotten off the Wormwood.
You guys have been amazing, BTW.
