Hello everyone. Professor Masaendri here is a strict, rigid retired elven professor who thinks the world is populated by irresponsible, frustrating youngsters who need some tough love to get their acts together.
I have played this scenario in CORE a while back, so I'll allow the player(s) who haven't take the lead.

Guys, I'm very sorry, but I need a couple of days to get better. I caught a very bad cold, my head feels just like two balloons [cit.], I need some time to recovery. I'll try to write something Friday or Saturday, ok? Meanwhile I will get tested for COVID, hoping everything will be fine.

Hey y'all, sorry for the prolonged silence. I still feel very s@#@ty, I don't really have the strength to put into PbP. I'm sorry, but for now I have to pause all my games on the forum. Feel free to either kick me or bot me, either is fine. Tomorrow I'll finally get tested for COVID and I'll know what to do for this illness. Thank you for your understanding.
I do hope this passes for you soon. I don't feel the need to kick you. It's as simple as: once we hit the 1/3 point and cross it I believe you can't get a chronicle. However we're not there yet so I'm not going to rush it and we'll see what we can do to work around your situation!
BTW, to explain what probably felt a little rail-roady:

Hi y'all, I should be able to return to the tables after this weekend. I hope you won't mind having me with you again, I know I've been sick for a very long time (I still don't feel completely fine, hopefully next week will be better). In any case I'll try to catch up and post on Monday, have a nice weekend y'all!
Apologies for the delay. The house has been a little busy with some in my family being sick going into the weekend.
Smashing the door is certainly one option if we have no disable device in the party.
Apologies, I will continue to be a little slow with family members sick. I'm hoping to get back to one post a day, but they may be very late, and one or two may spill into the next day while this is going on.

I'll wait to post until tomorrow, so everyone has a chance to react before we get into the meaty stuff. While I don't remember the exact solution to the riddle, I have played this before and remember how we solved it.

Feel free to post because the only ones that make any sense are the ones we've 'seen' (the tooth pullers, the gathlains, the fish). I have zero clue what the hell this word salad is spewing on about.
If anyone is concerned about the module author's feelings/thoughts about negative comments, I unknowingly insulted an author's unoriginal writing in a thread where he was running the module. I told him to be original and he wouldn't have to worry about it.
If Yulau and Kalak would like, they can still make day job rolls before I issue the chronicles.
