End of combat, unless you want to attack something...
The goblins seem to have left trays, jugs, with an assortment of bones.
Zaidel
Zaidel trots over to Krysta, next to Jellena, and kneels down on the forest floor. The cleric says a prayer of the body.
The satyr then looks at a nearly-traumatized kitsune.
"It's a sorry excuse for a welcome to Aeria Gloris. I'm sorry you had see that, Ramie. I also died once. I hope the Mistress is taking good care of Krysta's return as Cayden did for me."
Zaidel looks up to Jellena. "I will stay here until Krysta returns. You can go on and get the goblin if he's near."

Ramie sniffled, her voice thick and warbling with tears. "She just looked so strong... I thought she could fight. She did against the goblins, right? I didn't mean to get her killed... I'm a buffer, I'm supposed to buff. What did Jellena mean about an amulet?"
The Floof leaned against her, comforting with her solid warmth.
Zaidel
Zaidel points out the amulet that materialized on Krysta's neck. "That looks like an amulet of resurrection, like this one!" The satyr lifts up his own from behind his holy symbol and pan pipes. "A Chosen gift. It's a one-time resurrection spell. And they're expensive to replace."
Zaidel removes all his neckgear and places his amulet on Ramie. "That's now yours", the cleric said as he puts his holy symbol and pan pipes back on. "I don't know how Krysta got hers. The Gods intervened, I imagine." The fellow bard put his arm around the kitsune to help comfort her.

Jellena does indeed storm off after the goblin leaving the two of you alone.
You can hear a scream come from the woods, more like a frustrated sound than pain.
She comes back and begins talking with Ramie and Zaidel. She informs the group in a reserved manner, "I am the tank of the group, you need to stand behind me and well out of range of the enemy until I have tested their mettle. Zaidel can likely handle himself. Now after her resurrection we will need to have the same conversation. Zaidel you are the expert on nature correct? Now should have these trees been that strong or was there a mutation or something?"
[spoiler=If the amulet is out to see on Ramie]She scoffs and looks at Zaidel, she then states with a bit of snarkiness, "So you finally had the conversation with her about the gods and their Chosen, I see."
GM Wolf
You hear the goblin screech out as she attacks it. Then it scurries away. Jellena follows along and soon is out of sight.
You see the amulet lighting up and it begins to power up. The light grows brighter and brighter but it seems to be coming from above. Anything reflective would likely begin to shine. After 10 minutes Krysta is brought back to life.
Upon completion of the spell, the creature is immediately restored to full hit points, vigor, and health, with no loss of prepared spells. The subject of the spell gains one permanent negative level when it is raised, just as if it had been hit by an energy-draining creature. If the subject is 1st level, it takes 2 points of Constitution drain instead (if this would reduce its Con to 0 or less, it can't be resurrected).
Krysta Amethysta
The amulet glowed and did its thing and with a gasp Krysta tried to sit up. Tried being the operative word as she couldn't manage it and fell backwards again to lie on the ground for the moment as she coughed and groaned in discomfort. "W-w-what happened?"
Zaidel
A wash of relief rippled across the satyr's face. "Thank the Gods! Krysta, you died. But a amulet of resurrection appeared on your neck and brought you back! Do you remember anything?"

Ramie looked bleakly at the amulet Zaidel had hung around her neck. "But don't you need it? When that one grabbed you up, I was afraid it would crush you. Are we supposed to get these when meet with our patron Gods?"
She waited with Zaidel for Krysta to resurrect, some part of her still doubting it would happen, despite assurances otherwise. When she rose up and moved, she babbled forth her apologies. "It was my fault. I cast that spell and the Treant must have seen you as the biggest threat. Like I teased them to pick on someone their own size or something. I'm glad you're ok. Sorry..."
When Jellena lectures, she cannot help but plead defensively. "We tried to do what you said. We stayed back, we were behind you. They just moved faster and farther than we expected. If we run away, we could just run into danger there and be too far away for you to protect us."

She moves several feet away and just waits.

"Maybe the next wish we come along I could wish that any new members of Aeria Gloris will level to a point relative to other members", Zaidel shrugged as he got up and helped Krysta off the ground.
"Ramie, I hope I will be alright until I get a new amulet of resurrection. I have a high rate of Fast Healing. Now, let's go find some more treants, or redcaps." the satyr chagrined.
Krysta Amethysta
Krysta accepted the hand up that Zaidel offered her and got wobbly to her feet. She was having some trouble standing for a few moments and then managed to get her balance. She shook her head a little to clear it so she could respond to Zaidel and groaned in pain as a massive headache tore through her. The only thing she could manage to say was, "N-no..." she looked up a bit blearily and then simply asked, "Did anyone get the number of that truck?"
Krysta turned her gaze to Ramie and said, "I understand, and I don't know if it is really, you that made me bigger. If that spell works like the one from Pathfinder it only works on humanoids and I am not one...or maybe I am just all confused..."
Stable enough to move Krysta went over to Jellena, her wings and shoulders drooping as she said, "I am sorry Mistress, I-i..." She was obviously crestfallen at her failure and then continued, "I should have stayed back, I should have listened better. I..." Krysta seemed even more down as she added quietly, "I'll understand if you want to leave a failure like me," it was obvious that Krysta was suffering from some rather massive self-esteem issues at the moment.

Did Ramie stick the amulet under her garments or is it still out on display?

She nods, then states, "But without the template..." She trails off looking at the other two, implications apparent.
She lets those thoughts go to think of better times, "Speaking of wishes! I will consult the results of making you Sublime..." She pulls out four black bone pieces that have runes upon them. She throws them into the air and after a moment of reading them after catching them She states, "Well the omens prove bad, we likely need to make another wish before making Krysta Sublime. Now for Ramie... you are at 75% positive. So would you like that or something else?" She looks between Krysta and Ramie.
Zaidel
"I think", Zaidel injects. "That if we have another wish, that we wish that new members of Aeria Gloris instantly level to a character level relative to the rest of the current party."
Ramie Jae
Ramie hasn't tucked the amulet Zaidel gave her away, it is around her neck in full view. "I feel like I need a Chosen Handbook or something. Wishes sound great but there are costs to these things, or consequences, right? We haven't even conferred with the Gods who chose us yet."
She considers their quest here. "We came to gather information about what is affecting the Treant's, right? We were told some redcaps are meddling and there is some sort of miasma. Since remove disease helped the one, can we conclude it's a disease? Can we determine anymore about it's nature from the fallen here?" She asks, casting detect magic to see if any auras linger on the fallen or cured Treants.
Zaidel
The satyr sighed. "As far as we know, wishes are rewards for destroying a Dark Soul. Occasionally, wishes are given to Chosen for innocuous things." OOC, something GM Wolf gives out wishes as holiday or birthday presents, or completing one of his Discussion quizzes. It's all at GM Wolf's perview.
Zaidel nods. "Yeah. Remove disease was a 'hail mary'. I just happened to have asked for that spell from Cayden this morning on the off-chance one of us gets sick. Didn't think I'd use it on a sentient tree."
"We saved one treant, maybe if I get chance in the morning, and there are still afflicted treants, I'll pray to Cayden to load up my 3rd-level cleric spells with remove disease."

She looks at Zaidel with a questioning look and states, "You want me to wish for a Deck of Many Things?! There are so many loop holes and troubles with that wish that I... would rather walk on hot coals for an hour instead. To that point take them out and level them up appropriately. We or I go off and rouse some low level monsters and bring them back. That would be more effective than using a cursed wish at the situation."
Ramie hasn't tucked the amulet Zaidel gave her away, it is around her neck in full view. "I feel like I need a Chosen Handbook or something. Wishes sound great but there are costs to these things, or consequences, right? We haven't even conferred with the Gods who chose us yet."
She offers, "You do have the breadth of knowledge of Chosen in us. But if you don't ask questions the answers may never be attained. If a standard wish is made outside of the normal parameters then yes curses and tomfoolery are likely to be had. Do I need to explain the parameters of wishes? Well you haven't conferred with your god." She then looks over at Krysta with a knowing look.
She notices the amulet on Ramie taking emphasis to point at it. She scoffs and looks at Zaidel, she then states with a bit of snarkiness, "So you finally had the conversation with her about the gods and their Chosen, I see. I thought you said you had already done that?"
After he attempts to use diplomacy on her to force her to be helpful, she chokes off a laugh and states, "I would love to help you with that but my wish is mine to make. Why don't you make that wish? Have you used your wish yet today?"

"I need to talk with Cayden to configure what I need to do daily to access that wish", Zaidel, equally frustrated, responds. "I made an ioun stone but I can't access it at all." The satyr pulls from his kilt pocket an ioun stone surrounded by a hard force field.

"Of course, silly me." she says with sympathy. Then with interest she says, "Let us see what you have." She takes the invisible object and puts it on the ground. She picks up some dirt and sprinkles it upon the object. She moves her hands over the object looking for a difference on it. Zaidel facepalms and takes back the unusable ioun stone. "They're your wishes. You can use them them however you like." The satyr sighed. "Let's go find some treants. And we'll try to be careful!"
Ramie Jae
Ramie's eyes were large as she watched the exchange. Like an animal scenting danger, she picked up on the tension. The mood was not particularly friendly and it made her wary.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (14) + 16 = 30
"Yes, Zaidel told me about being Chosen. That the gods will really hear us and arm us to fight against the Dark Souls. He talked about the Familias, but I haven't met another Desnan yet. It's all kind of a lot and it's hard to even know what to ask. You mentioned you could help me speak to Desna, Herself, but we had to go to New Faces, I think? Then we came here, so that's still on the to do list." She shrugs.
"Parameters sound like a good place to start. My first wish made me Kitsune. That one seems to have gone ok, at least I don't think I'm cursed. 'Course, I did fall outta the sky, so who knows."
"Anyway, I'm really grateful you'd offer me your wish, but I have no idea when I could pay you back."
To Zaidel, she says "But if we go after more corrupted Treants and you can't cure them, you and Jellena would just have to kill more of them, right? Shouldn't we wait until you can cast that remove disease spell again? Besides, the quest log here says 3... You already cured one and killed the other two, so maybe we should look for redcaps? Those might be more our speed." She says, indicating herself and Krysta.
Jellena Darkling

Her demeanor turns more inquisitive as she lets the tension go, "Though if he went through the rites and introduction ritual you should have been granted an amulet of ressurection. Yes I did say I would allow her to channel through me, though I think this is not the time or place for that. We could have had that meeting while in the... Krazok's shelter."
She replies with confidence and knowledge, "The wishes that were given to us when we arrived in Arcanium are special curses that can change the fabric of reality with ease with no possible curse. Though some might take on a simple curse to gain something more like Joe. He wished for a holy avenger, but then was given the option to take a legendary holy avenger like Excaliber. He took it and the sword was intelligent. It has its own quirks but works with him nearly all the time, not many ego checks. Most of the initial wishes to change race seem to be straightforward and no curses."
"I don't have much to wish for, sure I could upgrade some of my gear but I thought it would be better to equip you with the wish. With you joining the group there will be an option to gain the unique skills of other Chosen you have met. My Unique skill was to have a wishing ring. There are requirements that come with it and it should be tied to your god for more safety. Otherwise it might just be wild magic or the whims of a random entity. Thus once you have settled that arrangement like Zaidel, then you should have that options should you want it."
"Zaidel what do you know about Redcaps?" She asks knowing nothing about them but what she... She pulls out her phone and begins to research. "Redcaps are a CR 6... oh no... Treants were a CR 8. Also the treant likely animated two trees to fight with it, thus the reason for only one being finished on the quest. I will go find some lower level threats and be back." Unless stopped she skips off into the forest.
Looking at the quest you notice that it indicates 1/3 treants dealt with.
Mia Thornrose
Zaidel
Zaidel snaps out of his funk in surprise. "Yeah! Okay! I'm in contact with Queen Mia. One of Cayden's Chosen! She and Matthew are nearby!"
The satyr sends up some dancing lights in the sky the shape of a p3nis.
Krysta Amethysta
Krysta sagged in relief as Jellena's reassured her and she leaned into the touch on her arm. As the conversations went on around her Krysta opened her character sheet and got to looking at it. She realized there was something there she had not checked and when she activated that menu a whole new screen popped up that said "Gestalt Class". She puzzled it over a moment as she tried to recall what Gestalt was and then it hit her that it was a second class that levels at the same rate as the primary class! She'd somewhat gimped herself this whole time and didn't even know it! It wouldn't have made her any more survivable against that treant but it would have helped by giving her options!
With that in mind Krysta began to go through the process of choosing her second class. The problem was she had no idea what to take and so she finally looked up and said a bit sheepishly, "So, I kind of just realized I never obtained my second class. Any suggestions?"
Zaidel
Zaidel walked over to look at Krysta's character screen.
"Wow! High Strength and Charisma. You could do well as a swashbuckler or paladin. Your half-dragon status would help in any class you choose."
Ramie Jae
Ramie nods along with Jellena's explanation. "Ok, and you said earlier that we should use a wish to cement the Sublime template without curses. Is that what you were thinking? What did you mean when you said 75% positive? Is that a 25% chance of failure? What happens in that case?"
After Jellena leaves to try and bait some lower CR encounters, she joins Zaidel in considering Krysta's options. "I think the Constitution and Intelligence are the real stand outs. Especially with the Con bonus the Sublime template gives... assuming you take that eventually." She considers.
"A Magus class would let you channel touch spells through your natural attacks. Or... OH!" She hops on her toes with excitement. "Have you ever played a Kineticist?! With that Con you could burn like a star and your blast would be a spam-able ranged attack. I bet that would make Jellena happy. I think you can use Kinetic Fist to stack your blast on a natural attack like a magus does with spells." She grins up at the sparkly half-dragon.
Jellena Darkling

She walks over to look at the character sheet too, she offers, "Monk of the Scaled Fist, using that charisma as AC, or a ninja might be a good fit!"
Looking to Ramie she grins and states, "Yes... cementing the sublime template would be an excellent choice. Krysta can change her base race pretty easy in New Faces. Adding a template is a bit harder, especially if you already have one. You are just a Kitsume so adding a template shouldn't be too hard. With that you have about 75% chance of not getting a curse plus or minus a few degrees. Yes if your luck is not the best you would gain a curse. You might be able to live with it, otherwise your next wish is to remove the curse. There are spells that can help with that too but I believe the 'remove curse' spell would remove the wish bonus as well. Maybe not.
At Ramie's last comment about the Kineticist she offers, [b]"Yes it is a good class, my close friend Delman has an ability similar to it!"

Melee: +1 greatsword: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 14 - 2 = 26
damage: 2d6 + 8 + 6 ⇒ (5, 6) + 8 + 6 = 25

1d20 + 15 ⇒ (15) + 15 = 30
1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19
1d4 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (15) + 18 = 33
1d4 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

He sighs with relief before saying, "Boy I am glad we were able to track you down. Otherwise I would have just continued to run through these forests. At first it seemed like the trees were reaching for me but after a dozen or more of them fell to my shoulder they reeled instead at my approach."
