1. Please post at least once a day. If you are absent for 24 hours I'll send you a PM. If you're missing for 36 hours I'll mark you inactive and your Player Character will simply delay - that's not fun!

2. Under your name, please add a stat block, so I can quickly find your stats and keep the game moving. You can edit your character's Race, Class/Levels and Gender fields to include information such as:

- Hit Points
- AC
- Saving Throws
- Perception Bonus

3. What about Secret Rolls? Pathfinder 2nd ed has a lot of secret rolls the GM is supposed to make for the players, so the PCs can't react to a bad roll. Any skill with the Secret tag should be rolled privately. If I show the DC, feel free to make the roll openly. Otherwise, there are 2 ways to do this in my games:

- You can say which skill and which bonus you want to apply. (Example: "I use Occultism +5 to investigate the skull's mystic origin.")
- Or you spoiler your dice roll and everyone sticks to the honor system of not opening it.

Example Occultism roll:
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

If you haven't added Pathfinder specific equipment, I suggest you look at the >PFS 2 Society rules<, in particular the Pathfinder Training section.

Once you have your character selected, please post this information:

Alright, looks like we have enough for a legal table. I'll work on creating the slides later today/tomorrow morning. Thanks for joining, everyone!

Okay, I've added slides. You can see them in the campaign info on top of the thread, and in the GM Chadius header under 3-99.

You can also click >HERE<. I've put your slides in a random marching order. Please rearrange the icons however you wish. This will also tell me if you are able to edit the slides.

Once that's done, click >HERE< to enter the Gameplay thread. Feel free to introduce yourself, or dot & delete. That way you won't forget when we get started next week.

So we have Ulfgar and Kalderan as TWF melee rangers? And Kalderan has a bear companion. Then Leptus is a ranged specialist with a bird companion?

Character name: Evindal Mog
PFS/Organized Play number: 100198-2002
Faction: Envoy's Alliance
XP: 24
Money: 8.17 gp

Earn Income: I'm a field-commissioned agent, so I receive 12 days of downtime.

I'll use the first 7 days to retrain Ranger Dedication Feat to Investigator Dedication Feat.

I'll use the remaining 5 days to continue working on a Crafting project that is already underway: I'm currently in the process of crafting a batch of 4 Silversheen (which would ordinarily cost 6 gp each, or 24 gp for the entire batch). I've already spent 1 day (not 4 due to the Crafters Workshop boon from the Envoy's Alliance) and 12 gp for half the raw materials (noted on my prior chronicle sheet); then I spent 4 days crafting (with a result of success), reducing the total cost by 1.2 gp; so there is still 10.8 gp due before the items are complete (also noted on prior chronicle sheet).
Crafting DC 16 for level 2 item (level 3 crafter with expert proficiency): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17 Success. Each day spent reduces the total cost by 5 sp; since I have 5 days of downtime remaining I'll use all of them to reduce the cost by 2.5 gp. The batch of 4 silversheen are still not complete but need only 8.3 gp worth of materials (or crafting) to be finished.

Perception Bonus: +6 (+8 to Seek Hunted Prey)
Initiative Bonus: +6 (if using Perception)

PFS School Items: None. Field-commissioned agent.

Slotted Boons: Skillful Mentor (For any PCs benefiting from a Level Bump and whose levels are lower than yours, you increase the Level Bump’s modifier to skill checks to 2.)

Slotted Boons: Hireling (either: Deception/Theater Lore OR Medicine/Midwifery Lore, depending on the briefing. In either case, the Hireling gives a flat +5 bonus to rolls).

Chronicle Boons that may be relevant:
01) Traveler of the Spirit Road: Whenever you would critically fail a check to Hide, Sneak, Sense Direction, or Track WHILE IN A FORESTED AREA, you may check a box [3 uses] as a free action to treat that check as a failure instead.

02) Valais's Assurance: [2 uses] Spend an action to use the champion focus spell lay on hands, heightened appropriately for your level. This does not cost a focus point. [Touch range; restore 6 hp/level & give +2 status to AC for 1 round. Or, vs Undead, does 1d6/level dmg & basic Fort (fail = -2 status to AC for 1 round)

03) Touched by the Storm: While this boon is slotted, you gain cold & electricity resistance 1.

04) Doom Averted: "When your dying value is increased to exactly the amount that would kill you, this boon automatically activates. Decrease your dying value by one." ONE TIME USE.

He's also just picked up a Backfire Mantle that he would like to loan to a front-liner for the duration of the scenario. Basically gives whomever is wearing it Resistance 3 to splash from his bombs. 1 Bulk and uses your Cloak slot. Anyone want it?

1-09 (Thread|Slides)

Thanks for the heads up, Reylar.

Thank you for the character info, Evindal.

As per PFS rules on player vs player damage, how do players feel about getting caught in Evindal's bomb splash radius? Better we say it now rather than in the heat of combat. I've seen responses like:
- Whatever kills the monsters fast is fine with me. Bombs away!
- I'm OK taking splash damage as long as I'm not Unconscious and Dying.
- Do not damage me with your bombs under any circumstance.

But please indicate your preference now.

Evindal is offering a >Backfire Mantle< to protect someone from bomb splash damage. One of the frontliners should take it.

I'm good with taking splash damage as long as I'm not dying. Rhaegal also has resist acid 1 and resist fire 1. If you need to splash a party member with either acid or fire, Rhaegal might be the best choice.

You also get a +1 Fort and a +1 Will Saving throw bonus against the next saves you need to make. I will try to remember this, but feel free to tell me if I forget (or you can include it in your roll.)

I concur. However, the DC is likely lower (maybe half) due to the low gravity here. DC 5-ish? We'll see! :D

Unless I was going to say the result of a failure on that check was that someone got hit by the trap, or that a failure meant that it was impossible for those people to haul the body, I wouldn't call for a check.

If it's just a check to see how long people have to try and there's no time limit then there's no need for a check.
