Gheorix helps to kick a body into the water, while keeping quiet watch in the zone of silence before moving to the northwest to gain cover from prying eyes next to that unmarked building.

The water runs through a deep ravine here but it does indeed appear to be deep enough to cover the bodies. The three men work the bodies into the river while Sigrid provides overwatch. Gheorix them moves to the north-west to get out of the line of sight. The bodies hit the water soundlessly but then as you turn and move toward the northwest building a voice can be heard as you exit the silence radius.

"Sarge, there's movement over there."

You have a round.

Gheorix hustles across to support Alejandro, taking up position just behind him, and preparing to fight to cover their backs should the patrol in the open area stumble across them.

If it was coming from elsewhere, Gheorix would move differently, backing up past the door of that NW building he was sheltered by.

Alejandro dashes quietly to the northeast wall while Gheorix leads the other two to the building on the west side (I had to have Sigrid run to make it). Alejandro finds himself next to the door into the eastern tower. The patrol moves down through the gateway from the northern courtyard alert for trouble.

Do we have any sense of what the building next to us is, and whether it's occupied?

DM / GM / The man behind the curtain

Likely a guard shack of some sort possibly. You know the one next to bridge was used for that purpose. The building you are hiding next to is central to the entire fort so it could be a large guard shack or perhaps a rest point for the roving patrol. There is a light on inside the building and you hear people talking (muffled so you don't understand) and there seems to be no reaction to the initial call from the patrol. With just barely peeking around the window frame he is standing next to, Gheorix sees two people and that's just on the west side of the room.

Those were epically bad rolls! Thanks for giving us a free pass on the one guy who heard us.

Also, FWIW, my new ACP is just -1 because I went for light armor. So Agripos manages a +1 Stealth. If people have space in their builds, we should consider getting Stealth Synergy at Level 5 so we can do more of these shenanigans.

Agripos joins Gheorix in waiting as quietly as he's able, being sure to keep the building between the patrol and them. When it's clear, he will reunite with Alejandro.

The three of you move up to the building as quietly as possible about thirty seconds (5 rounds) after the patrol passes. Then Alejandro makes it across the courtyard to the northern building. Soon after, Agripos and Gheorix move across the courtyard. Then you hear the dreaded call from the east tower, "Intruder's in the north courtyard. Intruders! Intruders!" The room is well lit with light bowls. It has several chairs pushed to the outside of the room. Doors are on the west and southern walls. A weapons rack sits beside the southern door.
