After having the brigand tied up, we drop him off at the local lord's manor.

The local lord, one named Naibumo, looks at your brigand you tied up and asks, "Thank you for delivering the malefactor. Where are the others?"

Matsu Niko says, "His three friends chose the sword, Lord Naibumo, three of them fell."

Mirumoto describes where to find the bodies. He then says, "You can send eta to collect them if you wish. Or leave them for the carrion."

"They will be given a proper, if not honorable, burial," said Niabumo. "You will be remembered for taking down these brigands."

Matsu Niko bows and says, "It has been a pleasure Lord Niabumo, we have a Ronin to rein in. Feel free to contact us if you need any help in the future."

"Likewise," said Niabumo. "We will call on you if there is a problem."

The lord returns Niko's bow. Then he returns to his chambers.

Dai bows to the lord as he leaves and then will turn to head back to their mounts. "We should try and make up time on the road if possible." he suggests to his companions.

Matsu Niko smiles and says, "I concur, mayhaps we should start off at a trot?"

She says, "My name is Matsu Niko and I see you have some fine meats on display in your shop, what cuts would you recommend?" She then mentions how they are looking for a relative who is has been "helping" the local populace and that she has a job for him and would like to offer it to him in person.

"We have a few fish fillets on sale," he said. "I also cut red meat. So you are looking for a relative. Is it a he or she, samurai?"

My character should know the sex of the Ronin Matsu Niko says, "Why yes, without a lord nor lady currently but we have found one who would be a grand fit. Could you tell me their location? I would be most pleased by some fillets for my companions and I."

Matsu Niko smiles and thanks the butcher and leaves the shop. Once out of earshot of the butcher and anyone else she speaks to Mirumoto and says, "Shall we go into the forest? It was either accurate information which allow us to meet our goal or it is a trap and in end effect will enable us to meet our goal. What say you?"

"That does seem to be the way. Let the Kami guide us." Dai says and then asks, "Would you be more comfortable going mounted into the forest or going by foot? It would be easier to hunt this ronin down on foot I think."

Matsu Niko says, "I concur!"

He wears the mon of the Bayushi, however he's dressed shabbily. His hakima is torn, his kimono ruffled. The only thing about him that is neat is his mask. You know him as one of Bayushi Shoju's brothers. Unlike the ugly Shoju, he has a pleasant face.

You recently know him as someone who left his brother's side. He smells like the eta you recently met. However, he was engaged to a Unicorn (Shinjo Ayeka -- a diplomat). He was going to marry her during the Winter Court, but he came here.

"He's wanted for murder in Phoenix lands," the Scorpion replied. "That's as far as I know."

Matsu Niko smiles and says, "This is a beautiful day to meet a Ronin."
As she digs her spurs to accelerate the pace up the mountain.

Dai nods and says, "Yes, let us go find these men."
