GM Doug H |
WELCOME!
If you haven't played with me before, please take a moment to glance at my GM profile and review style and expectations; it's mostly standard stuff.
This game is run for Gameday X.
When recruitment opens, I will post sign-in instructions.

Done. And hello! Thanks for running this for Gameday!
Salaish has the "River Kingdoms Politician (General)" boon from playing Revolution on the Riverside, which will affect her Earn Income activity. Here's the text:
You have made yourself, one way or another, a known quantity in the realm of River Kingdoms politics. Upon completing an adventure set in the River Kingdoms or Razmiran, you may check a box next to this boon when using your downtime to Earn Income to participate in the political intrigues of the region, allowing you to find an Earn Income task of up to your level +1. Once all three boxes next to this boon are checked, this boon has a special effect in a future adventure.

Ok, all of the steps have been completed. Hey @DougH - great to be finally playing at your table, I am so looking forward to that! I got on the last spot!
@Salaish hey there! It is good to see you again! I am glad to try to play with you at the same table for a difference ;)
I looked for the team composition and levels of others PC and decide to go with Makai, she is a Warpriest cleric. So she is frontline with a bit of healing. She does have Battlemedicine besides 2 heal spells from her cleric class.
Anyhow, I am glad to be playing at this table. I seem to know every other player as well, but I will say hi as they come in, rather than in one long post :D
Salaish Talenduth |
Hi Makai/Farol! It'll be fun playing with you. :)

Hey everybody, looking forward to this. Good to see you again, Farol, and good to meet you, Salaish.
Lokoloko, we have unfinished business...
Lokoloko |
Oooh... Daraj is here... we see who burns the most!
I knows of you Salaish. Paffinder Gnimish worked with you... and Makai, Quickblade says you good cleric!!
Salaish Talenduth |
Well, hello! And I believe Itka worked with Daraj once upon a time. Well met, friends!
Lokoloko |
I will be adding the same boon from "Revolution on the Riverside" as well. Do I just check it off the chronicle and link it?

Symeon Isafira |
Hello Everyone! Sorry for not posting earlier, forgot to check in when signing up, and then realized Symeon needed to be leveled as well.
Great to be traveling with you Salaish, and I look forward to keeping everyone on their feet! With assurance, continual recovery and the Forensic Methodology, Symeon is more than capable at keeping everyone alive, healthy and happy. Well maybe not the last one.
Makai Goldenoak |
Hey @Symeon! We are ending up on a lot of tables together! Great to be playing with you again!
Lokoloko |
Gnimish is off doing the Pathfinder Trials. He sends his best, btw :)
Symeon Isafira |

Farol? Dangit I didn't recognize the avatar at first. But yes, it's great to be playing with you again. When I was setting up Symeon's character sheet I was just thinking how I wasn't in a game with now and I was a bit sad.
Gnimish is off doing the Pathfinder Trials. He sends his best, btw :)
Glad he's doing well. Also Loka seems to be handling herself well with the ritual.
Lokoloko |
That ritual was nuts... it could easily have gone either way...
oh and @Makai, don't be throwing books at @Symeon now...
Lokoloko beams with pride as he hears Symeon speak highly of his sister. Then he suddenly stops... "Ritual? What ritual?!"
Makai Goldenoak |
oh and @Makai, don't be throwing books at @Symeon now...
That is unfair! Makai never threw a book at Symeon!
Those were mystical powers of Golarion ;) It was like 3-99 Perils of past but on a smaller scale. Actions taken in Starfinder resulted in reaction in PF2 ;) Golarion physics ;)
Symeon Isafira |
So I signed up for another table of a 1-4 scenario where the levels were tending high and the character I most want to try playing would be a brand new summoner (assuming they are legal of course) and well testing the very easy to lose hit points summoner at a high level table... Not a great idea. I'm going to move Symeon there and instead bring a new character here if that is okay.
I'll look at making a character sheet and updating information tomorrow.
GM Doug H |
Sounds good; I would welcome having the opportunity to learn one of the new SoM classes — assuming sanctioning happens!
Lokoloko |
How do I use the River Kingdom boon I gained from 1-08? Check off the box and send it to you? Though I just realized that it's probably not going to be of any benefit for me now. Asking for future reference then.

Summoner is a legal option and my choice of eidolon was as well! I've got a basic character sheet together, minus purchases, for my character and need to get one together for the eidolon.

Just like you did here: tell the GM and mark it off on your own document.
The GM will then will tell you if they want further documentation such as a photo of the crossed-off boon or a link to the boon on whatever digital record-keeping system you prefer.
In this case, no need. If you tell me you checked it off, I trust you and will add mark a GM note on your chronicles since the boon has a "special effect in a future adventure."
Lokoloko |
btw, GM, kudos on the Character Macros spreadsheet. It's a godsend to have all the relevant stats in one place. Though I'm wondering if you could modify it for Discord (the dice expression is different).
GM Doug H |
I'm glad you find it useful! I don't use Discord for dice rolling so that's not something I will be spending time on. However, anyone is welcome to contribute; the sheet is available on PFS Prep; you can make a copy and edit to your liking; just change the hidden rows (13-19) on sheet 1 to whatever you need.
For example I know some other GMs have added more Lore for their games, and other skills.

I was just going to add another macro of sorts so that it's usable in both venues.
Makai Goldenoak |
I think the deal is in Discord, that the dice expressions are dependent on the used bot. So it could be different for different discord servers

I forgot that Discord is a huge place. The 2 servers I’m a member of have identical syntax.

Loko, if you want help with editing the sheet for that I can help. I've messed around with this sheet before. Which has been a life saver, thank-you GM Doug

Cool. Let me have a look at it first. Thanks.
Lokoloko |
btw, to those who are meeting this character for the first time -- Lokoloko means crazy/insane in Filipino. Thought it would be fun to create a brother/sister pair (her name is Lokaloka, which means exactly the same thing!) Daraj knows this goblin has a bit of a screw loose :)
Daraj l'Bayal, Mulitt Hero |
Yes, the last time Daraj and Lokoloko adventured together, they were equally effective at burning their enemies, so they have a (friendly) score to settle here.

I was able to modify it. Thanks for the offer though. The syntax made my head spin a bit (even in Excel it's a pain! :) )
GM Doug H |
Looks like everyone is signed in and ready to go but Dethor, who I've reached out to.
Anticipating a low-tier game in the 16 point range (I think Dethor is level 2).
Thanks everyone for doing all the things! We begin tonight!
GM Doug H |
A level 3 Dethor places us at 17 ChP; the highest end of low tier.
Makai Goldenoak |
Just FYI, Makai is Torag's Cleric:
Edicts be honorable and forthright, keep your word, respect the forge, serve your people
Anathema tell lies or cheat someone, intentionally create inferior works, show mercy to the enemies of your people
I read from the above that edicts are what the church value in its believers. As such looking for people who will not work with a legally operating government is a tad shady. Not against the PC, nor Torag, but it is dealing with the situation in a way that Makai would not have picked.
Lokoloko |
It appears we're all short folk in this one...

Totally. It's worth reading the Edicts and Anathema in Society Play for this kind of situation if you have not done so yet. (The tl;dr is that no primary mission will cause a character to fall out of favor with their deity.)
How you approach the problem from your own PC's perspective here is up to you, and might make the game more interesting. The knowledge checks (coming up) may also help you navigate these waters.
Makai Goldenoak |
Ha! I actually never saw it. I don't think it would change the way how I play/have played but thanks for sharing.
Makai Goldenoak |
Please be careful about eating and walking in the future. The amount of deaths caused by choking in such circumstances is surprisingly high.
Ha! Good one! Aren't you living in Japan? If I recall correctly no one was walking and eating there. At least this is what I observed when I was traveling there!
Dimitsi |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
It is considered rude to eat something without sitting down to enjoy it. The idea of walking and eating (like a snack you bought at a street vendor) is becoming a little popular among the younger crowds but for the most part, people don't.
Also I was trying to think of a polite way of saying be careful without it sounding condescending (which Dimitsi is not)
Honzakqed Thomecon |
I was buying items for Honzak in and discovered I made a mistake with his ability boosts and missed one. I've added it to Int and modified his skills accordingly.
Also he now has gear! Most of it will be carried by Dimitsi, but he has it!
GM Doug H |
I was going to discuss this in the next part, but your VC mentioned a sum of gold for this mission, remember? You have 150 GP.
You can deduct from that instead of your personal funds if you wish.
Makai Goldenoak |
By Torag's iron ball...
Did you miss an 's' at the end? If not which Iron Ball are you referring to? :P

Maybe the fight against Rovagug didn't go as well as we heard.
GM Doug H |
Will move you on tonight when I get home; the refugees will sail off back home with gratitude as that seems to be the party’s wish.
Lokoloko |
Honzak might just find a pickle stuffed down his pants if he's not careful... :)
Sedoriku is the (un?)lucky one as he's playing with both my goblins...
GM Doug H |
In case anyone missed potential pickle-drama with your favorite Razmiran:
Narsen will try a pickle and be delighted if offered one. (At least, so it seems.)

@Gm just one piece of informaiton. Makai is Anvild dwarf => she gets 2 Speciality Crafting. She picked blacksmith and stone work which could be of use here. That would give +1 to crafting check, but there is no way to put it into Macro sheet ;)
GM Doug H |
That will come in handy, and you will be rolling many checks yourself.
