As Melissa decorates the ceiling, Jaraduk is confident his grenade hit a ghost dead center. Yet, it's form was not affected at all by the blast. Looking in the other direction, Akh and Guess? both lay into the ghost that travelled through the wall. Their energy attacks rips small whisps of it's image out of existence, but the scary skittermander is undeterred. Strek nearly gets a shot at the ghost, but Akh's wide swings get in the way. The brakim pulls at the last second, hitting the wall instead of his friend.

The spirit in the doorway strikes twice at Akh's exposed side, it's claws ripping through his armor like paper. A few droplets of blood float in the vacuum before the android's armor seals off the wound.

While Melissa continues to blow holes in the interior wall behind the ghosts, Strek's targeting computer sends his shot into the side of the ghost. The energy beam makes a circular hole in it's form. Beside the two, Del and Jaraduk are both confused. Del's knowledge of the mystic arts does allow her to tell the nuar that his other grenades might have an effect. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage have only a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature.

As Guess? utilizes his fancy suped-up necrograft to disappear into the shadows, he feels... tired. His limbs began to feel like they're full of lead! Congrats, you are Entangled for four rounds! Strek has really locked in the overcharge settings on his agitator, blowing a hole right through the dead vesk captain. It looses a silent scream as it fades away into nothingness. Guess? follows this up with a blast to the ghost attacking Akh. The android spins in place, finally able to focus on just one assailant. His taclash rips through the center mass of the specter, sending it back to a different plane of existence. Melissa turns to the final ghost, painting a target on it with a sonic beam. The ghost moves closer to the center of the group, claws raking across Jaraduk's chest as it goes.

Hmmm? Level to damage is starfinder standard with Long arms and non operative melee weapons as long as you're proficient/specced, which you are automatically as a soldier.

Not that the ghosts are harmed by the non lethal damage dealing neural thingies. Starffinders know those sorts of things, Delivery ship crew not so much...

Looking at the floor nearby, it seems the vesk ghost dropped a datapad when he disapparated. Unfortunately, it seems like all items of value have been destroyed by whatever capsized the ship. Alright, do you want to hit Engineering to clear the ship before you move the cargo?

The pad is full of the captain’s personal information and, most importantly, holds copies of several of the ship’s final logs. These logs identify the ship as the Final Endeavor but also give a hurried, incomplete look at the vessel’s final moments— being attacked by devils after making a routine Drift jump. However, there is one haphazardly written entry dated only a day ago. It seems to have been written by the dead captain, and though difficult to read, it’s filled with the desperate hope that the crew might be able to make the ship “return to the cold quiet of the Drift.”
